The stylist (according to twitter rumours) is Molly Rogers, who also styles And Just Like That
And just like that I don’t want to watch the movie. Also from what I’ve seen and read about the screenplay this would be better shelved just like AJLT. Some things don’t need a follow up especially if you can’t do it well.

Did Meryl wear Prada in the first film? I would have dressed her completely in the latest Fendi collection. I totally agree about the spoilers and I hope the indoor scenes aren't ruined, but I haven't seen any videos in a few days. On the other hand, I can't help but disagree about Andrea's looks. They are two very different characters, I wouldn't even understand that they are the same person. It's true, it's a sequel, but you have to take into account, in addition to the evolution of the staff, what the previous character was and represented. I find that Gabriela Hearst dress inappropriate for example (but it's also true that we don't know anything about the plot). How did we get from this

Not that I remember apart from the bag in Meryl’s opening scene. I don’t think she wore Prada. And at the time, it was the best years of the brand.

It’s a matter of POV I guess.
The first movie ended with Andy leaving runway and therefore the fashion industry. For me, the looks make sense so far. We won’t see any make over I think.
The Gabriela Hearst dress is very Andy I think. Andy post runway, confident in her persona. I don’t expect her to have acquired 100 years of quote on quote « good taste » after a year at runway 20 years prior. This is her blue sweater for 2025 lol

I don’t find necessary to do a DWP2 but I like that so far, it’s different enough from the first. The first one was fairly representative of the industry at the time (even if it misses the fun part) and I expect the new one to be the same.

Do we know about how long they will take to do the movie? A lot of the first movie was in the FW season.

It will be interesting also to see if they film during FAshion week in September/October. They could definitely save money on building sets and could also have a lot of industry guest-stars (aka designers and photographers).

But the original looks are peak 2006 fashion. We don't even see that on the runway anymore.

Obviously she wouldn't have similar looks to back then.

Of course not, but even something in between would have been fine, hahaha. Not everything we see on the runway is what Andy is wearing in the film currently in production. The character wore almost only Chanel in the first one, and now look at the photos.I mean, it's true, we're 20 years later and even Chanel, for example, has changed, obviously, but I would have preferred something less clear-cut and "aggressive" in a certain sense.
