I was just wondering about something. What's the difference between an agent and a booker?

If the booker books work for a girl, what's left for an agent to do? Is an agent like some sort of "manager" or advisor that for example decides if a job is good enough for his/her girl or is that the booker's decision?

Please explain! :flower:

I was an agent/booker for almost 10 years, first at Company Management (now defunct) and then at Marilyn's in NY. It's pretty much interchangeable nowadays. I think that agent sounds a little more "upscale". I try to refer to people when I credit them in pictures for MODELS.com, as agents..

So it's the same thing? That explains it! Thanks for the answers. :)
