Last season's trend for jewelry definitely isn't going anywhere. It seems to be that designers either did simple, delicate looking earrings, or bigger, more noticeable ones.

oh my.. the Jil Sander earrings. hard to keep them in balance but..:heart:

Earrings can add some sizzle and pop to any look. The easiest way to look better than you already do is to add some earrings. Oversized earrings have been very popular. But really, I feel a little uneasy looking at oversized earrings. I sometimes think to myself... "do those earrings hurt?" Even with this, earrings can help add extra appeal to your overall look. And as long as you pick a great pair of earrings, your overall look will improve.

I say that I feel uneasy sometimes about big earrings, but it doesn't mean I hate them. A friend of mine from India never fails to find a beautiful pair of earrings to compliment her casual dress style. A Vietnamese friend of mine and a faculty member at my community college both have lovely pairs of earrings. Especially those with small stars dangling from the earrings. A great pair of earrings makes your overall look come alive.

Unfortunately, I don't have any favorites from this thread from pictures so far. The Giles earrings from Post #1 look terrible. Not even my grandmother would wear earrings like those (and she has clip-on earrings)! I tend to find beauty in simplicity. So the Prada earrings from Post #1 would qualify as my favorite earrings if I had to pick a favorite.

those jil sander ones are awesome...remind me of the body piercing trend without the added hassle of more holes in the skin.

The Jil Sander ones are beyond amazing, ugh! Too much beauty!

Something Just Came to Me...

Sorry to spoil the love fest in regards to the Jil Sanders earrings, but I'm not awed over the Jil Sanders earrings. I don't like them very much. Sorry.

^ uhm that's fine, this is a forum where everyone expresses their opinions.

Vuitton might have taken the cake on this trend....

i love the earrings in marni! they look like ribbons that you thread around your ear.. :D

I say I feel uneasy about huge earrings. Well... those massive earrings from Posts #14 and #15 really make me feel uneasy. I've seen big hoop earrings and "door knocker" earrings, but those are ludicrously huge. Not saying I hate them or anything. Just that... uneasy feeling looking at massive earrings, especially the ones worn by those models from the two posts I specified.
