i don't think european men shave/trim/remove their pubic hair so often, i just saw it in p*rno movies (makes "it" look bigger?).
once i met a french guy who's a big traveller, he sais he shaves down only when he's dating a californian girl - otherwise he's not getting anything...
must be a cultural option.

Gah! If a girl has dark blonde hair and blonde eyebrows (err... dyed) and brown pubes is that seriously gross? I mean, can you color your pubic hair? Or maybe you can wax it to death so that it grows back sparse and more "invisible"? Is that possible? Or would it be better to just keep it bare so that no one ever knows your "secret". I'm a natural blonde!

imo a natural blonde should have her natural pubic color. there are some girls who dye their pubic hair lighter [especially girls who dye their hair super light blonde] but if youre naturally darker it's not gross at all, your natural color pubic hair matches you best, keep it.

Hair Down There

I was wondering if you guys could fill me in on the trend on bikini waxing. What is the best way to shape it, maintain it, most aesthetically pleasing, etc. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

I did the bikini wax once, and AM NEVER DOING IT AGAIN... there has got to be an easier way...
Laser is on my list...

I shave. All of it usually. I want to get a bikini wax but no where around here really does it.

I tried Nair once and it hurt like a b*tch! OUCH!

I shave but I hate doing it--the blade being so close to you-know-where freaks me out. I've been wanting to try a Brazilian for quite some time now... even if there's a monumental amount of pain involved. Can't I just get wasted and then go?

interesting, I am a calif girl. My hubby shaves it all off and he gets lots of action. :D

Oy, its so long to read. I just want to know what the difference is between the brazilian and the landing strip etc.

I think brazilian is like a thicker "landing strip" where landing strips are just very p*rno-esque.. but very convenient during swimsuit season

I thought the brazilian was removing all the hair. When I was at work, Oprah and one of her guests were talking about it, but I can't really remember the details.

Isn't Brazillian waxing where the "waxer" waxes from your behind to the front?

i think so. never did it, becouse i hate beach and stuff, so i dont wear bikini.... but women here wear thongs a lot, so they need to wax their ***holes too.

must hurt.

I have had a brazillian wax, it is when they wax everything, there is no hair left, unless you specify to leave a stripe. A basic bikini wax just takes off where hair may show when wearing a bikini...

I get mine waxed at a salon and they use this wax that seriously doesn't hurt me.
It's not the typical wax you heat up and use a special piece of cloth or paper to take it off. Instead of the cloth/paper they kind of peel one side of the cooled-down wax and tear the rest off. It went so smoothly and painlessly.....GREAT! The lady who does it, just asks me how much I want off, so it's as simple as that. I personally like a stip left down there. :)

for me: i shave all of it as i prefer it clean and neat.
regarding the question whether european men shave: i see it more and more (well, at the gym in the sauna that is :p ), especially among younger guys. it just looks nicer. less space for odor.

my boyfriend shaves it all of most of the time and i prefer it to "au naturel".

the brazilian isn't really that painful. the worst part is the top, near your belly. otherwise it's nothing with nothing. the key is to find the best person in your area and spend whatever $ you have to. i would not go to my local nail place for a wax downstairs.
