The Hills

I've got a feeling this big announcement is going to really disappoint us all. They have to build these things up to be more than they end up becoming to get us all watching. Which they of course they suceed in doing!.....Because I can't wait for this final episode!

^ Rachyroo, I think you are exactly right. They are probably just trying to build up the finale.

This was just posted on perezhilton.com

Apprentice alum Jenn Hoffman just sent us this great email. We thought we’d share.
Sharing is caring!
“Hi Perez,
I can’t believe Lauren Conrad is trying to lead the public to believe all reality shows are staged. Her life must really be boring if the producers have to make so much stuff up. I was on the latest season of The Apprentice (a show about “boring” business people – not even supposed California socialites experiencing the high life) and I can tell you that every single thing on my show was real. No scripts, no re-shoots for “continuity” and certainly no fake characters like you say they introduce on The Hills. Obviously some of the dating shows on tv are bullshitty and a bit put on– but they make it pretty obvious. The Hills is filmed documentary style and presented as “reality.” LC should just suck it up and admit she is a faker. Would anyone really be surprised or upset?
The Apprentice is real. Reality shows are real. It’s just Lauren Conrad’s show that apparently is fake.

does anyone know what heidi's co-workers name is? brunette - was wearing a black and white dress at the finale? I think she's gorgeous and i love her style

^ Do you mean the new girl who works the clubs with her? I think they introduced her in one of the earlier episodes this season and said her name and everything. If you mean the assistant, I do not know her name either, but Heidi says it the first day she is working in her office. The girl gives her a message and Heidi thanks her by name. Sorry I cannot be of more help!

Heidi's assistant is like "shane" and the co-worker is Kim
as for reality shows being fake, the Hell's Kitchen guy that I looovve
his show the Fword, is at a friend's restaurant, it's 100% all staged,
the restaurant agrees to do it for the PR

Perez is so jealous of Lauren..who would'nt be?

^ I'm actually not! But I wouldn't mind being Brody's girl.

From tmz.com

An MTV insider tells us that America's favorite couple, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, have come to their collective senses and called off their impending nuptials (which were never going to happen anyway) ... for now. As for their relationship, they're still together ... for now. At least until season four!

What's that you say? We had you at Speidi?

Details, as they will no doubt say, to follow ...

She’s become Heidi’s new confidant and work buddy. Decked out in all vintage clothing, Kimberly looked elegant self-professing that her closet was “a vintage field.”
When asked about being referred to someone she’s never met before she only had one thing to say, “I’m a normal adult.”
Kimberly also admits that she is interested in watching the season finale because she wants to see how things had panned out between Spencer and Heidi, since the two haven’t been in close contact for some time.
MTV: How has being on ‘The Hills’ changed your life?
“Well the only thing that has changed is that it has made me a more public face.”
How do you guys feel about Kimberly? Do you think its time we stop calling her the new Elodie? After meeting her tonight, we feel we should.

Seriously if the hills was fake Lauren would be with Justin Bobby and REALLY shock people

by Anne Becker -- Broadcasting & Cable, 8/6/2007
Senior MTV production/development executive Adam DiVello has left the network after nearly 10 years to found his own production company, Done and Done Productions.

DiVello, who created and has overseen all three seasons of the network’s smash-hit reality soap The Hills, is staying on as executive producer, managing day-to-day duties during shooting. Separately, Done and Done has a two-year, first-look development deal with MTV, where the company’s office are being housed for now. But per such deals, if the network passes on a show, he can shop it elsewhere.

Done and Done, whose moniker comes from the popular teen-speak phrase he (and, in turn, The Hills girls) regularly employs, will design to make both broadcast and cable shows that tell relatable stories, whether reality, live-action or animated, says DiVello.

“Ultimately, I’m a storyteller,” he says, “so I want to do shows that have same quality as The Hills that look good and tell stories in different ways than what you’ve seen before.”

The company is currently busy shooting the third season of The Hills; it debuts Aug. 13, but shooting will go through November since MTV upped its run from 12 to 18 episodes, so the season will run through December. After that, DiVello says, he will focus on developing new shows, both from internal ideas and outside pitches.

DiVello started out in the videotape library at MTV in 1997 and worked his way up through the production and development departments, along the way creating such shows as Crashing With and One Bad Trip and developing others, such as Made and Say What? Karaoke. He co-executive produced Laguna Beach as MTV’s senior executive on site during shooting and came up with the idea for its spinoff, The Hills, which follows Laguna’s lead character, Lauren Conrad.

Prior to MTV, he held stints at Live With Regis and Kathie Lee and production company Giraldi Suarez, where he worked on commercials for Dr Pepper and Jeep, among others.

DiVello has already begun taking pitches from contacts he has amassed during this time in the industry.

Hope Justin B makes it!!!

In a huge surprise on the red carpet tonight, Elodie also known as Heidi’s work nemesis arrives on the carpet looking great. “You should have gotten the job!” Screamed one the fans in the audience. Elodie has kept a low profile since her time in the series, but we’ve asked her what she’s been up to.
MTV: So everybody wants to know. What have you been up to lately?
“Well, I started my own bath and body line Jolie en Rose, which includes bubble bath and flavors which are so yummy and amazing. You can find them on my website or at Nordstrom at The Grove in LA.”
MTV: What are you most looking forward to tonight on this finale?
“I loved Vegas. It’s hard for my favorite moments because they are all good but Justin Bobby was my favorite character.”
MTV: How has being on ‘The Hills’ changed your life?
“It’s made me look at the big picture more in terms of happiness. What I want from myself with happiness wise since Bolthouse. I’ve never been better.”
MTV: How do you feel about being back in the Bolthouse Area?
It’s good to be back! It looks so different since the show. I’m happy to be here tonight because I’m dying to know what is going to happen
