The Hills

^Yeah thats what I assumed aswell? Good for Brody...

He always seemed to nice and to cool to be friends with Spencer. Plus, he is too darn hot to hang out with tools who bring him down. I adore the fact that he is friends with Lauren and that Jason is too. Even though Jason has gotten himself into tons of trouble, there is still something likeable about him, IMO. :D

Ok, someone help me, please? Why on earth do they pronounce (the name of) the club Les Deux like that? It bugs the hell out of me.

isn't that how you pronounce it?? i mean it's clearly a french spelling/pronounciation...

^ Yeah, I didn't see anything wrong with how they were saying it. I thought it was just me!

^^^ No no,I'm french and I understand what FashionJunkie meant. And that bugs me a lot too.But I guess this is the american pronociation.......
They really sounds like idiot to me though.

I guess that explains why I failed French in high school.

Well that's all fine and well, however that's how one of the owners of the club pronounced it. Mike Malin who was on the show Big Brother is a part owner of Les Deux and Dolce, as well as other clubs in LA and that's how he says it. Whether it's perfect French or not doesn't really matter in this case.

lol they pronounce it wrong !! but it's hard for americans to pronounce it cuz you don't have that "eu" sound like we do !
I find this funny though to hear them say it with the american accent !

^ I took French all 4 years of hs, so I know what you mean about that "eu" pronunciation and since Spanish is my first language, the pronunciations come a lot easier to me....

Lauren saying it just sounds so funny

It's like an -eh but you have to make a circle with your mouth and say it. It's like an -eh and -oo together.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, at the end of the first episode the song is Umbrella (yes i know, DUH) acoustic version but the singer is Marie Digby. I LOVE it!

^Me too :)

My 14 year old brother is coming over to spend the night at my apartment tonight. I know he'll throw a fit, but The Hills will be on my tv as soon as it's set to start. (He's too cool to watch it, you know??;))
