as much as heidi is shady and is less than deserving of sympathy
i actually felt for her.
she looked hurt in alot of the shots at katchup. which means she still must have strong ties to lauren. and you know if bffs have falling outs of monumental proportions, feelings still reside they just don't disappear. their kinda hidden for awhile under all the anger and rage. but the girls gotta bitchy way of going about it. she's gotta be feeling very lonely. all by her own doing of course. and spencer is no help. he's a dirty harvey weinstein in the making.

Just like Sarah13 said, it was so obvious that they put a voice over in when Heidi's back was turned before she left the house to go to work. There are voice overs is almost every episode I bet. Everytime I watch I listen very closely to try to see where they come in!

Heidi and Spencer really are trash. That whole sending Lauren an alcoholic drink while sending Jason just water was a clear hit at his substance abuse problems. They're officially lower than low. I do wish Lauren's night hadn't been ruined by them. Jason seems to have matured a bit, but you can definitely see "old Jason" there. Audrina not being in this episode didn't bother me at all, lol. Why does Heidi walk into work like someone who has never worn heels? Is that her "sexy and powerful" strut? Because it makes me laugh every time.. Props to Elodie for shutting her up, she didn't see it coming at all. Spencer hasn't even told his parents about the "engagement", I'm sure that's a good feeling. Didn't Jason get engaged like ten days ago? These episodes must be really recent now.

I thought they said a bottle of water and a shirley temple-which as far as I know is a non-alcoholic drink, a cocktail for kids...which I figured they sent to show she acts like a child or isn't as nearly as grown up as she thinks.

Heidi's birthday party, from the pics I've seen it was just her, Spencer and Perez Hilton there. That's one party I'm glad I wasn't at. I couldn't stop laughing at her 'performance' of her single. What was with the erratic arm and head movements?

The confrontation at Ketchup??.....Katchup?? whichever, at first I was a little disappointed that Lauren or Jason didn't say anything back to Spencer and Heidi, give em what for. But then I realised no, they acted in exactly the right way, not rising to them or acting anyway near as immaturely as they did. Yelling across a restaurant and sending a faux gesture, which was actually a dig?

Lauren and Jason were too cute, I loved it when he said 'nice purse' and she said 'yeah my loser ex boyfriend got it for me'! Loved that.

I'm pretty sure I heard that too. I never connected the reason why they would choose a shirley temple, but your theory makes sense!
