I posted this in the LC thread, but for anyone who doesn't go there, I want you all to know that The Hills is DEFINITELY coming out on DVD, My friend's husband works there as a graphic designer and RIGHT NOW he is designing the cover for the boxed set and is working on determining what extra footage to include. I don't know when it is coming out yet though, but I will be sure to nag him and ask!

I'm sad to admit that I spent my whole labour day watching a Laguna Beach marathon on mtv canada (or whatever we're calling it) and boy am I glad she got her own show! Laguna was way too much ignorant drama (although highly facinating), I got a headache just watching it! and that Stephen kid...what a sleaze. ALSO, JASON is SUCH a sleaze too. LC's parents seem really sweet and their house is just beautiful! Although Laguna had a lot more drama, I find The Hills more interesting because of the TeenVogue aspect of it, and Heidi is f-ing hilarious.

I'm seriously contemplating watching reruns on youtube during my deskjob..

Oh man, I spent this past Sunday and Monday watching ALL the epis of Laguna Beach. Monday was especially excruciating since there were 18 episodes back to back. Loved it, but never watching Laguna ever again, I've had enough!

I just saw on E News tonight that Jason was arrested on September 1st for possession of drugs, resisting arrest, and some other charge. Looks like Lauren was smart to lose him!

I am taking a trip to NY this weekend and should be seeing my friend who designed the boxed set for season one. I'll see if I can find out any scoop for everyone!

Does Whitney and LC get paid for the internship at Teen Vogue?

The reason I am asking is because LC consider Teen Vogue as her job according to "The Hills" instead of an internship and I know many many internships that are here in NY the interns don't get paid and the magazine company only offer school credit.

and it boggles me how can LC can afford all those nice things and rent?

^ sanita, i think the internships are non-paid - that's why they take summers off, etc. plus, even if they did get paid - it would be so small - it still wouldn't cover rent/clothes. the girls most likely get paid by mtv from doing the hills - that's where a good portion of their money comes from (and also i'm sure their parents help them out - i mean, whitney still lives at home).
