Oh gross! He is such an attention wh*re that I bet he will want to march down the aisle with a bouquet all by himself too just so all eyes will be on him!

This screams MTV spin-off which I am sure was one of his motives.

I'm not sure they are very bankable without Lauren and HER show...that's what they don't understand LOL...should be interesting to see what they do to start drama this season....since LC dislikes them so much, I can't see them getting too much airtime...and they are not liked by the public too much...

ugh i really like this show but the people on it annoy me so much. they are NOT celebrities; at least in the sense that they didn't do anything credible to earn their fame. it just really bothers me to see them get to go to all of these fancy shindigs, etc. when other ppl work their whole lives to get their 15 minutes of fame and most don't get there.

^ I completely agree..I hate myself for watching it but it's a good distraction. plus it makes me glad to realise that i am normal and grounded and not self obsessed and living on cloud 9 like most of these people . Although I do think that Lauren is pretty down to earth and works hard at Vogue..

I will admit that I would never tell anyone at work that I DVR this show! But at the end of the day, I just want to watch something that involves no brain power and makes me forget my worries. It is my guilty pleasure. Not giving it up!

I swear heidi has no sense of fashion. She is always wearing the ugliest clothes in my opinion. oh and spencer looks really funny in the last picture!

^ I agree about Heidi's fashion. Those brown cords she wore in the amusement park pics made me want to vomit up my Thanksgiving dinner. She looks really washed out or tired or worn in the last set of pics. Spencer ain't looking too good either...not that he ever does!

I'd have to agree as well. It seems more now than ever the public is too accepting of what the media pushes on us [who the newest "it" person]. Many people are famous now for just having their picture taken at events. Some aren't even that talented, but seem to be "talented" because of post-production and we let that "celeb" get away with it because their image is being sold to us.
But I'd also have to agree that Lauren does seem down to earth and isn't a "camera hog". She's working hard and finishing school. Some others are tipping off papparazzi and haven't even accomplished anything yet. Or they only have a list of failed projects and only have their names on things others have worked hard to create because someone behind the scenes told them it would make them look good. These "celebs" live these lifestyles that many of us envy only because we allow them...going to their shows, purchasing their merchandise, etc. I think we forget this and we envy them. If we want to be entertained by them, I think they should actually have the talent....sorry for the rant, hopefully it made some sort of sense.

I watched a couple of episodes of this with a friend the other day, and we were both in agreement that Lauren is a sweetie, and Heidi & Spencer are evil selfish idiots.
