I guarantee that he is only "back in Lauren's life" because the show's producers thought it would make for some food tv. It definitely peaked my interest, so there strategy worked on someone!

The Heidi/Lauren fight is supposed to be over the sex tape scandal which will be featured during this season...that should be interesting...especially since Spencer leaked it!

The person who posted this at the source also said this about Audrina:

~the Hill's is NOT scripted, per se. Rather, the producers call them and tell them, "we are shooting at this location between these times and we need you and so and so to be there talking about such and such incident". Moral of the story: its not reality tv, but its not entirely scripted either.
~She said that outside of the show she doesn't really hang out with the other girls at all.
~She was cast when the crew and producers were scouting locations and checked out the studio she was the receptionist at (remember that place from the first season?). They asked her to be on it and she agreed because she had moved to LA to be an actress.

I can't say that bringing Jason back would spark my interest, I think I'd rather watch Heidi, Jason was just really annoying and treated Lauren like crap..but of course I'll still watch it
I find it hard to believe that Audrina doesn't' spend much time with Lauren outside of the show considering they live together now and seem to be at a lot of places together? but thanks for the inside info
oh, and last nite, I saw on TV those Pantene ads with 'unwritten' in the background and thought of you guys...they've made it to Australia! for a split second I got excited that the Hills were going to be on free to air tv, but no such luck. they really should copyright that song

Why the hell am I a sucker for this show? It's obviously scripted, most of the conversations consist of "so whats up with you and so and so, are they hooking up, that was shady". I mean this has to be the worst show ever, yet I have season one and the soundtrack, wtf man. God I can't wait for season three!!!

I watched the trailer at least 100 times since yesterday night

Yeah I believe that Lauren & Audrina are good friends. Maybe she meant Whitney/Heidi? It seems that they hand picked Audrina and Heidi for the show and everybody became friends because of that. It doesn't seem that they became friends and then got on the show. If that makes sense? Either way.. I like to think that Lauren and Audrina are actually really close.

This thread has rekindled my obsession with The Hills!
Can't wait for season 3 to start. I just hope they'll give Spencer as little screentime as possible but I highly doubt considering the 'storyline'. Really want to see more of Whitney at Teen Vogue and super intern Emily
