i like watching the show to see Spencer and Heidi embarrass themselves.

I respect the fact that a lot of people love THE HILLS. But come on you guys, that "reality show" is so fake... I mean, I really don't know what's the big deal with that show...Heidi for example is so annoying...she looks like a female version of Chris Crocker...and I'm sure some of you guys know who he is.

^ hahaha I know it's fake, it's just such a guilty pleasure. Plus it's filmed like an actual series, not like those other reality shows. The fashion and the music draws me in.

I thought I was the only one that thought Heidi soooo resembled Chris Crocker. They could pass for fraternal twins.

MTV has released this new trailer about the new season. I'm a little sad they didn't add the dramatic music they usually played during the new season teasers. So what can we learn from this trailer? Well....

• Whitney brings her odd facial expressions to the new season, lands herself a boyfriend who clearly must rate a 4 out of 5 on the "******-o-meter." Whitney is dropping the name NYC so you know this is her last season on "The Hills" until she gets her new show.
• Lauren and Audrina both start dating new dudes. Justin Bobby makes an appearance with a bit more hair. Apparently that's all you need to be on the show.
• Heidi's sister makes it onto the show, which is kind of nice because it reminds us all of what Heidi used to look like before all the surgeries. And by that I mean, "not that good."
• Brody tells Stephanie that he knows how crazy she is either before or after he goes to jail...which I kind of don't believe because wouldn't we have heard of him going to the slammer by now? Maybe he goes to "Hills" prison, which is basically just a corner of the set. It's like a time-out.
• Audrina and LOser have a little fight in which Audrina says "I don't care" to LOser, but you know they edited it that way to make it look like a fight. LOser probably asked her if she wanted to order a pizza and Audrina said "I don't care." I'm not buying it.....but I'm watching it.

What a diva!
As we mentioned last week, Lauren Conrad was hired as the official dog walker and host for Animal Fair magazine's 9th annual 'Paws for Style' benefit.
Instead, L.C. showed up for some quick pictures on the red carpet and quickly left out the back before doing her walk down the runway with a rescued dog.
She bailed on an event that was paying her!
Now, we find out that L.C. was also flown to East Hampton by helicopter and was paid to host a party at Lily Pond for Svedka's "Join the Party" campaign.
However, in typical L.C. style, she showed up two hours late, according to reports.
For a gig she was getting paid to do!
A source says, "She seems to have lost a grip on reality and thinks she is A-list material. And after taking pictures, she bolted straight to the VIP area and refused to speak to anyone outside her entourage."
So very true.
L.C. better enjoy her 15 minutes of fame. Most "reality" tv stars don't last very long in the spotlight. - especially when acting like spoiled divas.

He got it wrong according to Emily Brill too - she called him out on her blog. She said that she was the source, but he didn't state the facts. He went on with whatever.

With season four of The Hills set to debut Aug. 18, Spencer's little sis dropped by E!'s Hollywood Party Girl radio show yesterday to set the record straight on her so-called date with Lauren Conrad's ex and her feud with her brother.
Despite what next season's trailer suggests, Steph says her "date" with Doug Reinhardt was more friendly than romantic...
"He was giving me boy advice and, you know, there was a candle on the table, but I didn’t think it was a date," she dished to me and my cohost, Whitney English."And when I saw the trailer, I was like, Oh my gosh!”
Spencer's little sis also wants everyone to know she never hooked up with L.C.'s ex. “I just want to say, for the record, that Doug and I never kissed or anything like that,” says Stephanie, adding that she and Lauren are still friends.
As for where her loyalties lie, she tells us "it changes every day." She couldn't reveal if she and Spencer are speaking or not, but if she can be swayed by presents, we'd say Speidi has an edge.
They came to her birthday party during taping bearing a huge cake, balloons and a Louis Vuitton bag, while L.C. gave the birthday girl a book about purses.
