Latest ‘Hunger Games’ casting call reveals inclusion of important scene
One of the most iconic scenes in The Hunger Games book is when Katniss turns into ‘the girl on fire’. That scene, complete with horses, appears to definitely be in the film.

This is figured after seeing one of the newest casting calls:

Needs Slender to average size males who are expereinced with horses or very comfortable around them. Will work 2 days in August. Send email witth current snapshot, height,weight,sizes to us at [email protected] with the heading HANDLER.

The horses would of course be a part of the chariots that the tributes ride. We can’t wait to see this part of the film!

I really hope they do it big with this movie. They have the opportunity to really impress if they do it right.

That EW cover is not a particularly great pic of Josh--you all just wait, he can be quite handsome on screen. And more importantly, he's a good actor.

^I saw him -as an adult- in The Kids Are All Right, didn´t think much of him looking or acting wise... this is a bigger role though, hope he can delivers

I'm not worried about Josh (talent wise)...I just don't think he will have the right kind of chemistry with Jennifer.
They're only about 2 years a part in age, but since Jennifer looks so much older than 20, I'm worried that Peeta and Katniss will end up looking more like brother and sister than prospective lovers.

And Liam looks uber skinny as Gale. I pictured Gale as more athletic and strong.

I got my copy of this EW issue yesterday, and the on-set pic of Josh with Jennifer is great. I like the solo one of him too--more Peeta-like than the others so far!

Oh! Didnt know there were more pics in EW! These look really good, Katniss and Peeta one is from the Arene, no? I like their outfits for the games, Katniss outfit in the woods looks kinda Pocahontas-y ( the one with Gale). :/

that scene must be when they were hunting in the woods just before the reaper, unless they changed the clothing of the hunger games regarding it is described in the book

edit: i think they changed the clothes in the hunger games, because the bow she is holding is not the one her father made for her . it looks like they are issued brown pants and black shirts for the games.

She still looks nothing like my Katniss. And he doesn't look like Peeta either.
Hopefully we get a trailer in a couple of months. The film comes out in 8 months, so a teaser trailer is due soon.
