^^weird, i can't remember the unitard bit, now the catsuits start to make sense, i always had a dress in mind...oh well, i always disliked those parts in the books anyways

but i agree, BCBG's dress comes closest to what i imagined

Honestly, all the outfits described in the book sound kinda awful. I'm curious how they are going to make Katniss not look ridiculous throughout the movie. I do want to see Finnick in his golden net "knotted strategically at the groin" if they get around to making Catching fire

In the book it's suppose to be a black leotard with a flaming cape but I dunno how they would be able to really recreate something like that... probably CGI it (but that could cost a lot). It's interesting to see which designers actually paid attention to how the outfit was described in the book and which didn't. Also, what the heck is going on with Tommy Hilfiger's sketch? It looks so bad.

Christian Cota is how i pictured the outfit to be.

I'm in a simple black unitard that covers me from ankle to neck. Shiny leather boots lace up to my knees. But it's the fluttering cape made of streams of orange, yellow, and red and the matching headpiece that define this costume.

i literally opened my book and wrote this out

Nicole Miller's seems to be the most accurate design though
but i love the Cato

yeah, as the girls said, i don't remember the details in the book, but the fire thing stuck in my head so i did remember it this way.

That first pic looks like they're going to show Peeta giving the burnt bread to starving Katniss.
