"I've seen this bag on three women in four days and don't know who makes it. It's a hobo type, but more "U" shaped, with gold/brass rings at the straps; and the straps are kind of rolled leather as opposed to flat. I have seen it in three colors; orange, yellow, and red. I must have it but I don't know who makes it! Do you have any idea? It is so cute. I think it's like 15" x15" or so."

What's a large, matte silver slouchy bag with lots of tassels and some metal (maybe buckles)? I know I've seen the make around and it's probably very well known.

Had to pass along what my un-fashion-conscious husband said to a friend who had one tonight at a party. I guess he found it a little bright and intimidating and felt compelled to 'joke' to her that wow, it looked like the kind of purse that was sent back from the future to kill other purses. (Ala T2) Weird, I know. But now he's wondering if he made a terrible faux pas and insulted her. I told him that since he himself had no fashion sense and that was clear by looking at him that no, she was unlikely to take it as an insult.

Yes, though thanks for the suggestions. I suspect this may be something I'll just 'run across somewhere' in a store that doesn't have an online counterpart. The RL and EB ones had some plaids but not that dark (and to me traditional) red/black.... I was hoping to avoid lavender/canary.

that's the ysl vincennes and it doesn't come in those colors (and the handle is a gold filagreed cage, which is pretty unmistakable). also, at approximately $1200, I doubt you would see so many of them. the colors make me think of the bcbg hobo, but that has distinctive silver u-rings attaching the straps, not gold rings.
