i really like the fall 05 collection, and some of the holida 05... unfortunately the descriptions are off by one, it's kind of confusing.

Guys,

take a look at the Perplex&lola intreview on http://www.thebrilliance.com/thebrilliance/interviews/perplex/interview.asp

I think its in common interest to share how indie designers are
making it out there . The fashion game is so not easy .. espeacialy when you get to play it on dayly bases...

what do you think? It will be great if other independant designers share their own experiences . We can all learn from it . ..

They probably don't ship their items, or do they?

you're welcome liberty, seraphelle!
perlefine, could be felt?
they probably don't usually ship but you could e-mail them about a certain piece, i guess. they are very friendly. i can ask the next time i step by:flower:

how do indie designers get work? do you go to market or just send sammples to vendors or what?

is the answer to my previous question somewhere else in this thread?

we show our collections to shops by appointment or we take part at trade shows, there are a million ways, no set path really

so do you make an entire set of things before you show them, or do you make samples and then take oders from the shops?

what do you mean 'entire set of things?'
one makes the whole seasonal collection on time and tries to get it to as many shops as possible, then you take orders and start production ;)
