OMG Leila must be so thrilled.
I love the richness of the colourscheme..orange is suppossed to inspire creativity..the theater lighting around the mirror, that alladin'ish bed w. drapes, the runway (wanna see pics!), the spotlight area..you really went all out Teena. Very fitting for your little princess.
What is her favorite part of the room?

The runway is up against the wall with the burgandy curtain around it, but it's on wheels.
Leila LOVES her bed.

so are you saying that for example, i could paint my walls a shade of a grey, have an eggplant bedspread, white curtains and light fixtures, but then throw in some yellow based pillows or throws ?

eggplant's complimentary color is yellow so something w/ accents of this color. also, you never want to be too matchy, but have a variety of different shades. i think grey is fine as long as you don't stick to a cool toned color palette for the rest of the room.

Andora, Leila's room is fantastic! It's so great for her age and there are a lot of great features that she can grow older with and modify. Brilliant!!

I totally posted something buti t must have never gone through. I was talking about how the lighting in my room is quite decent, my windows take up half of a whole wall and I talked about getting warmth in through the eggplant and luxurious fabrics like cashmere throws and so on...anyway I still haven't even confirmed that I can paint my room so once I talk to the landlord and get all that sorted, I will keep everyone updated as I'm sure you're all on tenterhooks
