All summer, we'll have (here in Québec) reruns from season 2 and forward. Every night of the week! This is great as I missed the first 3 seasons and I'll never get tired to watch some episodes more than once. The only set back is the fact that it is dubbed in french - although it is well done, I miss the original voices of the actors.

^ i'm half french so it'd be fine for me to understand perfectly but... i love jennifer's voice too much to have to hear a dubbing. so i get what you're saying!

^^Yes! Although it is strange at the beginning, i found that i get use to the "alien" voices quite fast.

It started last week with season 1. After watching the last season, I found that the show was very different when it started... For instance the Tina personnage is so very submisive with Beth - now I fully undertand when people say that Beth is the alpha female. I had no idea that Jenny was going to marry a man. Shane, well, we don't see so much of her and her style was not totally defined then. Alice has a totally different look which I really like. And none of that silly music at the beginning. I think I heard a song from Marianne Faithfull at the very first episode, right at the beginning. Great and very fitting.

I am finally happy to get to know Dana. I heard so much about her without knowing who she was. She is very funny in a neurotic way; i love that personage. She is the one who dies of cancer no?

Anyway, I'll know soon enough has it plays every nights from Monday to Thursday....

Breaking: Jorja Fox's CSI
Replacement Found!


The L Word's Lauren Lee Smith has been tapped to join CSI as Jorja Fox's pseudo-replacement, a CBS spokesperson confirms. Smith is expected to play the character of Bryce Adams, a "flirtatious, witty and strong-willed non-conformist" that is recruited to join the graveyard shift
— also known as the role that Katee Sackhoff inexplicably got passed over for.

In addition to L Word, Smith was a regular on the syndicated series Mutant X and had a role in the CBS comedy pilot, Can Openers, which failed to make it on the fall sked.

Lara, yes! I just discovered her in the Season 1, this last week. Interesting charactere... I have known her from "Mutant X".

Interesting news; I also watched all the CSI programs. As you can see, I watch a lot of TV...!

It is interesting to see all the actors in other TV programs that have made appearances in The L Word. I have just seen Anne Archer yesterday in "Ghost Whisperer" and discovered her on the "L" season 1 playing Alice's mother. I remember her so well in the movie "Fatal Attraction". She played the wife of Michael Douglas.

Other notables: Julian Sands (plays Jenny's teacher) - love this actor.
...and, too many countless others to remember just now.
