it's kinda weird though how some characters go through extremes of charming and then hateful behavior. Either the writers are clumsily trying to create complex characters (after all we all make mistakes and have positive and negative characteristics) or they are trying to woo is with the character one season only to make us hate them the next (or vice versa). Think of how we loved to hate helena but then she was alice's best friend. Or who we loved shane and then she went and totally humiliated carmen actually kind of understandable in the context of her character but still in extremes). One minute you sympathize and the next you're just like WTF...?

Yeah, I think that´s supposed to make them seem three-dimensional and "real" but it just makes you think they´re changing the characters personal traits to suit what they want the story to be. At least in some cases, generally I think the show is very well-written but sometimes it seems a little desperate.

btw, i hope they find a way to keep elodie bouchez on the show. she's HOT!!

Elodie is very cute but her character bugs me a little, can´t quite put my finger on why though. I hope Papi is gonna make more appearances

^^ maybe she's over doing the sensual mysterious thing...She's one character they haven't taken the time to build. so it's kinda like, who's this french chick all of a sudden? but i hope they do something more with her than what they are doing now. she just seems like jennie's over sexed transition girl.

i am so confused by the illogical relationships and inconsistencies in the writing on this series. i would've left any other show after last night's episode. but i will keep watching...for you know who... whose voice by the way seems to be gotten deeper since season 3...

Watched 402 last night. So that's "Papi"? Very hot but not that hot as i'd expected....
Btw,that kid with Shane just poped out nowhere or have i missed something?

^^ i watched both episodes of season 4 and even i don't quite get how he popped out of nowhere. but he's shane's step brother or half brother and his mom left him with Shane for some reason.

yup I actually quite like this season, although I have to say I'm very curious about Papi =o somehow i like her better than Shane ... hmm odd. And Bette! Good to see that she's back on her feet and soaring through the art world and beating down those projects and sleeping less than 3hours a night and surviving purely on take outs and expressos

papi was hot but not really worthy of the build up. and why did they go through all the trouble of dramatically reintroducing karina lombard's character only to leave her completely out of the next episode?

hmm because they felt like it? lol nah... I think it has something to do with Jen's development and I'm predicting in future seasons (most likely the final) to resolve the tangled mass with Jenny.

Because from what I've gathered from the Season Premiere, Jen isn't over her... or else she would've done the 3some with Claude and Marina... but she wouldn't even let Marina touch her. Hmm...

and Season 2, if i remember correctly Robin said when Marina was in the hospital she was crying out Jen's name...hmm but when she returned this season, no sign of "I love Jen" or anything...hmm maybe she's holding back...

But that's just my innocent POV, there is always something darker and more forebroding in the human heart... or at least The L Word plot wise XD

yeah, I think you´re gonna be a little disappointed in Jennie when you get to season 4..
Speaking of which, I just saw episode 3, and I was wondering if anyone else finds Nadia really annoying? Everything about her just comes across as tacky to me. But Phyllis is great, love her

Here! I can barely stand her. I don't know what Bette saw in her, or maybe she's just too lonely.
And yeah, i'd like to see what happens to Phyllis and Alice.
Max however, worries me. S/he's been hiding her/his real self from the lovely girl. I can understand how s/he is afraid, but still...
