^You didn't :lol: I watched season 4 and season 5 in like only four weeks, so I still remember almost everything. They never mentioned why Papi disappeared -_-

ps. even wikipedia says:
Papi will not be included in the cast during season five, no information regarding why she has been released.

papi was never intended to be a steady character on the show. and tasha still mentions her, so really, she is there in speech, at least.
 
I got into the show a bit late, only having seen the last two seasons. I watched it on the recommendation of a friend and was instantly hooked. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed by the season 5 finale. I was expecting real cliffhangers or something exciting.... :(
 
you should watch all the seasons from season 1, then you can see how the show's writing/characters/plots get progressively... worse :p

i'm interested in what will happen between shane and jenny in the next season. quite frankly i found shane's behaviour season 5 to be very appalling...

Welcome Vlam! I always asked myself how many men vs women would watch the L Word. Judging from forums on the net, it seems that there are not so many men interested in the program. Or maybe they don't like to discuss it on a the net... i wonder.

Yes, I also hate the way Papi has gone... One day she there, the other, she's gone. Well I did miss some episodes from season 4 - maybe one or two; can't remember. I should watch them all again. I might have missed something.

Same here. I started with season 3 dubbed in french. I do not have any other choices has it is a paid network that transmit the program here in Québec, which I do not have. Of course, being dubbed in a foreigh language, means we are behind the regular schedule. Now we are at season 4, two episodes left.

I could not wait though and watched most of season 5 on the net at showcase.ca. I still have not seen the finale except some parts on YouTube. I have never seen seasons 1 and 2. Do they exist on DVD?
 
^ they do exist on dvd. and season one is amazing.

my favorites have to be season one and season five, simply because of tibette.

I finally saw the finale episode of season 5 on the net yesterday (at showcase.ca). What and ending! Wonder what will happen of Shane and Jenny friendship. Shane has definitly gone a bit far. But that is Shane for you and that's the way I like her charactere.

Oh, and that Adele! What a despicable personnage! I though she would get what she truly deserve but no. I was disappointed about that! I really hate that little intriguante (who doesn't?!). Doesn't make much sense to me either. The fact that she become a successful director overnight is a bit farfetched.

I was very happy about that Dinbo SheBar owner. She did get what she deserved. That was perfect. Very satisfying.

Tina & Bette; perfect all the way! Jodi's move towards Bette was quite interesting to say the least.

I can't wait for season 6!!!!
 
i think it might be jennifer beals because she recently said in an interview that she likes intense make-out sessions because it calms her nerves and shyness... and since she is such a shy person, she's probably shy on camera at times, too, atleast until she is able to get into the scene.
 
the nikki and shane thing... we should've seen that coming! remember around the fireplace when they were talking about their partners sleeping with their friends and it being okay as long as they came back to them in the end. i don't know if i remembered it exactly the right way. but, i know it went something like that. foreshadowing!

oh haha that's just my guess. helena just always seems so eager.. i don't know who else it could be that's 'supposedly' straight and has many love scenes. plus in an interview she did for some woman's magazine they asked her who her female fantasy was and she said kate moss(i believe?).
