I have this one! I only bought it because this girl at MAC looked gorgeous, she was blonde, lightly tanned, she had freckles and she was wearing this lipstick-so adorable! But it looks good on me too.

Thank you Ida, I don't mind some shiny lip balms, but I like to put balm with a stain and shine seems to spoil the look and makes it look less 'velvety' somehow.

^^I love Hugo Naturals Lip Balm- totally clear and matte, but stays on lips forever and leaves them soft after you've wiped it off. I used to be a Chapstick fiend until I figured out that it was sucking the moisture from my lips . . . now I like Hugo Naturals the best (also very cheap), Rosebud Salve when I want a tint, and Jack Black balms when I need SPF.

Right now im looooving my burts bees original mint scented lip balm as a base and then building my lip colour over that, i find it kind of mattifies it!

My fave lip colours at the moment are

Bourjois Velvet Finish lipcream in #55- most gorrrgeous matte dark rosey reddy pink EVER!!

Sephora Lip attitude Lipstick in #502- really moisturising glossy juicy pink colour, hardly any shimmer and really pigmented...plus it smells like grape!!!

Nivia Fruity Shine lip balm in the Cherry Scent- gives lips the prettiest sheer rosey tint EVER...plus i love anything cherry flavoured

YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in #26 Tender Peach- formula last 3 seconds BUT the finish and colour is the best ever.

MAC Chatterbox looks similar to that on me I think.

I just bought Fresh Sugar Rose lip treatment and love it so far, the tint doesn't show up on me but it treats really well, and I love the lemon-rose scent.

I hadn't thought about this, indeed it would greatly convey the matte effect ! but I've never came across 'neon' lipliners, I feel like they're usually in more natural colours.

bisouss, how about lipfusion in 'kiss' when first applied it goes on really sheer then sort of stains your lips

I usually use a damp flannel gently with no product on after cleaning my teeth if that helps at all.

Has anyone tried the new Loreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick??
I have yet to find a good Red lipstick that actually lasts. I have MAC's russian red, and it wears off in about a half hour, leaving a ring of red, making me look like i put on lipliner and forgot the lipstick! (not a good look!)
