The nude collection from the Dior Couture F/W 05 !??!?! What is it doing in this thread.... That's not what I call a little black dress.......

^ha, that's what I thought when I saw them, and when I was posting my picks, I was a bit hesitant to add the last oscar de la renta dress since it was so long...but I figured, if those Dior HC dresses worked...then why not the oscar de la renta?

and sorry I forgot to note my source, all my pictures were from style.com

i only own one little black dress, but it was so cheap and is by far the most versatile item of clothing i own. its all layered jersey with different straps to it can be made halter neck off the shoulder, strapless or just normally. I love that I can dress it down over jeans with boots of really glam it up with some beautiful vintage jewellry and high shoes

I'm absolutely in love with these Aquascutum black dresses, I want them all!

Fantasy LBD's

Sorry if this thread already exists..i couldn't find one

Little Black Dresses are almost always universally flattering, stylish and chic. So many designers take the classic concept to the new levels, cuts, shapes, creating beautiful and unique silhouettes.

Post some dream LBD's that you'd LOVE to wear!

The following are Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Ungaro, Anna Sui, Douglas Hannant, and Gucci.
