I can't do Shiseido, sadly-they animal-test and I strictly use cosmetics by companies that do not.
As far as MES, sure, they do best with a base but Fresh Green Mix is just as fab without. It's one of the best Mineralize MAC has put out, PERIOD.
Vanilla fairy, the shades are as follows: Our Pick, Hipster, and Faultlessly FW on top, and Runway Fave, New Berry, and So This Season for the bottom. Tomorrow I'll post my swatches from Style Black, as well as Tone: Grey and Red Full-Stop (I put those all together, heh). The swatches aren't great, but it gives you a general idea of what you can expect.
As far as Pearlglides, I haven't used any only because I tend to do shadow+glitter with a 212 or 231 as my lower liner. Here's three ways I'd use Rave:
1. As a liner for a smokey eye (not waterline)-this would give a nice pop of colour.
2. As a lower liner with any neutral look-purple goes well with neutrals and makes them pop.
3. With other purples-this will stand out due to the pearl, so it gives a nice amount of visual interest.
The Pearlglides aren't waterline safe, sadly-it's due to the shimmer. I would love for a perfectly-pigmented coloured liner to be matte so that it could be used on the waterline, but no dice, sadly.
