I'm trying to go light on the credit card right now. Because it's gonna get a punch to the stomach once Fafi comes out. I love that packaging, although I saw some swatches on specktra and I'm a bit worried about the colors.

If I was you I'd google the sellers name and see what come up..
Maybe do a search on Spektra.net (forum dedicated to MAC)

I honestly wouldn't risk buying brushes on eBay. I've heard too many horror stories.

^Oh, ok dears, I won't buy them actually. If they're fake but really well done I wouldn't notice the different from the authentic ones and I'd be paying 200$+ for something that isn't worth it.

I read in Elle that makeup artists often use Mac Face & Body Foundation for runway shows

I actually use it...its very natural looking, sleek, matte, easy to apply and perfect

My MAC pal just gave me Fafi eyeshadow quads.
It has a very pretty yellow and green in it but it's so full of sparkle! Not usually my thing but I will give it a try.

I don't have a camera but it's this one.- The eyeshadow quad on the right in the pic.
I have only used the top left colour as a brow highlighter and I have to say I wasn't very happy with the colour payoff. I didn't see much colour just sparkle.
I will try the rest and report back.

I'm excited about fafi but I'm also curious to find out more about Heatherette.

See I never really got into the special collections-not only am I fairly new to MAC, but I always would forget about them-but Heatherette seems interesting.

Anywhoo I got a couple good things last week. I got the Violet pigment, which I'm already so in love with, and then I got the Moon's Reflection eyeshadow. It is the same as an old Lancome Colour Focus eyeshadow (Strobe-a light blue) that I was in love with but this is more pigmented IMO. Another one I love.

I tried the rest of my quad last night and ended up giving it to my bf's sister.
I just couldn't handle all the sparkle. Way too much for my taste.

I'm so disappointed because I was really excited for Fafi but I've heard nothing but bad reviews.. but, I can't wait until (I think) March '08 for Heatherette!

Thanks, that video was cute. I think it's pretty on that girl but the whole style just isn't me and wouldn't suit me like it does her. I think I'll pass on this collection.
