This isn't a wildly specific question but I have absolutely no experience of MAC products and I'm wondering what products one would recommend for a newbie to MAC.
I'm looking into their brushes, maybe some eyeshadow and blush ones.

I'm not an expert, but I noticed that the pixi2woo-girl often uses this MAC 217 eyeshadow-brush. I think I'll buy it too.

the best eye brush for a beginner to make up is the 239. it's so multipurpose. definitely the best brush i own.

I have to agree on the 217 brush. I work in the makeup industry and I can't go without it.

are all the pigments compatible with each-other? I bought vanilla and magenta and will purchase other brand yellow red and blue, will i be able to mix them?

^ I do tend to mix pigments some times, it has worked fine for me

oh thankyou, i didn't realise it was still on the website! can anyone recommend a good lipstick colour that suits pale skin (and dark hair). i usually wear nudes such as myth, the only change i ever have is when i wear red in ruby woo, but i'm looking for something new!

You don't say what tone your skin is ... mine is pink and fair. Some of my favorites ...

Syrup, which is pale
Strange & Exotic--I believe this was LE, looks great when I'm wearing purple
Profusion--favorite bright coral
Lady Bug--favorite sheer bright red
Capricious--more subtle "French" red
Lovemate--bright pink
Chic--softer coral
Plum Dandy, Odyssey--lighter & darker plum pinks

I stopped by a MAC store today and bought a sheertone blush: Pinch O' Peach and a matte eyeshadow: Copperplate. I really love both . Copperplate is such a beautiful colour for blue eyes! And they're always so friendly at MAC....

I hope you don't mind me asking.. Where in Belgium did you go to a MAC store? My parents live there, but I don't know if more stores have been opened since.. The only one I know of is in Brussels, and if my memory serves me right, it's quite small!

Of course I don't. I went to Ghent, and it's a small store but I don't know how big Mac stores usually are, since this is the only one I have ever visited. I know there's one in Antwerp as well. Can't wait to visit that one when I find the time.
I think MAC is quite unknown here, the first time I heard from this brand was when I started watching tutorials... There's only one friend of mine who has already heard of MAC before, but that's it.
We're so behind here.

there are images of the venomous villains collection leaked.

the packaging is HORRID. plain black glossy with a cheap image of the character on the front. i wish they would have gone with the sketches as shown in the video and chrome packaging, or something really sleek.

another disappointment from MAC.

NoemieLeigh there is a Mac shop in Antwerpen and there is another one in Wijnegem Shopping center not too far from Antwerpen ,both shops quite small but with almost everything you need and want ....i hope it helps
