The palette is beautiful but I don't wear colors like that. I'm actually proud of myself because only a short time ago I would have NEEDED it even though I know I wouldn't use it...but not anymore. It is very pretty though.

Yep, the packaging is a killer on this. They were right when they said that it would be insane and that this will sell out faster than Dress Camp. Apparently Pink Manish is similar to Malibu Barbie. Anywhoo the last fun blush casing I remember MAC doing, besides the summer ones that have the coloured cases, was the Patternmaker which had a fun pattern over the top. This is similar but 800 times better. I love palettes and the eye set just seems so fun...not only is it colours I need (yes 4 of them are perm but I don't have any of them, and I wanted to get the two LE ones) but the case! The case looks very vintage-y.

And if Shine Manish is like Silly Girl+Pink Grapefruit, I am so dead. Two of my favourite Lipglasses...

I'm a MAC newbie, I love bright colors, and am a sucker for rhinestones.

I must make my decisions carefully.

As for the upcoming Starflash, I'm curious about Smoke & Diamonds and Tophat. I'll need to go and swatch in person before I jump on the "Need It" bandwagon, though.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Suite Array pearlglides, possibly Overrich (although they're going perm pro, right?), and eventually Red She Said. (My birthday money trembles in fear).

Speaking of which...supposedly they're bringing some Dazzleglass and Mineralize eyeshadow action for Red? I won't solidify any feelings for it until I see a good photo of all the colors spread out in full glory.

I am saving my Bloomingdale's gift card for that launch because I know I'll need a lot!

Umm...okay...that Gold Fever video is crazy. The collection itself though is just tons of repromotes. Shadesticks, pigments, Fluidline, Liquidlast, glitters, and so forth.

Yes, Red She Said will have Dazzleglasses. Love Alert, Sugarrimmed, and Baby Sparks are three that I have heard will be repromoed but I also heard rumour about Date Night. I would rather that than the other three TBH. Also MES trios...that is going to be something interesting in the least. There are also going to be Beauty Powder blushes. From what I saw of the very preliminary images, the palettes are going to be red and jeweled.

As far as Overrich goes, all the pigments but Mauvement and Mega-Rich are going to be perm at Pro stores. As far as blush pans, they would be more than $10.50...because I believe that's what eyeshadow pans were before the price increase.

The Suite Array pearlglides are gorgeous. I want at least three of them however Manish will wipe me out-that and the MSF's. They are not waterline safe though. At least I can get excited about these, I'm not too excited about the Kohl Powers.

I really want most of Starflash - it's all my colours and the texture sounds dreamy, I'm such a sucker for frosts anyway. If I'm good, I'll go for Grand Entrance and Smoke and Diamonds....but I love Lotus Land, Star by Night and Top Hat too

Good thing some of the other collections don't appeal to me at all. I only really want to try Jardin Aires pigment from Colour Forms...

^The texture itself is called Starflash. The freestanding stores have them out now I believe, or at least the one I went to did, and I got Sunset B. but will get more next week. I also picked up Fuschia pigment.

I second that; I have been wearing it nonstop since I got it a few weeks ago. I am loving everything I got from Colour Forms. The Sun Centered Colour Form Powder gives me the perfect amount of color for summer. And I've been wearing Inner Hue l/s everyday. I haven't worn any of the cool colors I bought because I'm in a "warm" place right now.

I'm excited to see and feel the texture of Starflash! And the colors look fantastic.

Okay so some feedback about Sunset B.: It has pretty bad payoff on the eyes. You are going to want to use it over Canton Candy or another pinkish base because it goes on very light. On my hand it swatched decently, but different on the eyes. You will need to use a brush like the 252 with this one. However if you use Fuschia or Pink Pearl pigments it will look a lot better. It just takes a little bit of effort to work with it but don't let that deter you. If you have one of the pigments I mentioned, it looks REALLY pretty.

i'm getting into mac eyeshadows. i don't like the cases they come in - they feel a bit cheap, but the quality of the shadows are actually good. and they have some nice colours too.

Did anyone else get an invite for the Cult of Cherry prerelease party? I got one, I am SO stoked.

Also I got my Colour Forms and I am impressed. I got the Warm Lips, which has the uber-popular Flash of Flesh, Oh Garnet!, and then Fresh and Fun. Oh Garnet is reason alone to get the palette. Flash of Flesh is good too...but Oh Garnet: It's a very nice muted red. Not a bright red, more browned, but not rust or maroon or anything. It's the kind of colour you would wear when you don't want to do red lips but you want the confidence that the red gives you. Haven't tried the others but Oh Garnet was worth the $22.50.

Its been a while, but I am glad that you ladies are pursuing amazing purchases! Trista, i just love reading your posts, they are so detailed and informative, i still could not forget your Port Red recommendation! And now i come and see Oh Garnet, which seems tempting and sorry to ask this but i've been out of the loop for long, which collection is it form? and is it a lipstick or gloss? many thanks again=)
