Hey everyone,

I am buying some more make-up this week but i dont really know what i want to buy.....I still want the natural look but not boring. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what brands and/or items to buy?

Oh yea i have pretty fair skin cause i live up north and dont bake, so i think ill get some bronzing cream anyone tried this before?

Thanks

Cliniques Eyeshadows..I swear sometimes I think their entire eyeshadow range has a "fair scandinavian skintype" sort of focus..

HI Everyone!!

I would like to go get my make-up done for my birthday bash on Saturday night. Which counter would you recommend I make my appointment with? I'm good with makeup, pretty knowledgeable, but I use products from so many different lines that I don't know who to turn to when I want my whole face done (and by one specific line)...

my choices are: L'ancome, M.A.C. Chanel, DIor, Clinique...if i feel like making it to Holt's then possibly Bobbi Brown, Stila, Laura Mercier, Nars, Shiseido, Estee Lauder.

who should i pick?

salut. :D

MAC
I think it will make your night extra special with some glam makeup...
Clinique always gives a natural look, Im not sure if that is what you want...

Plastic's Wife: Yes, I was hoping for a little bit of glam - and I usually do go with MAC - so I guess it might be best to stick with it.

Thanks for your input!
xo.

I've noticed that many girls emphasize a lot on their eyes and foundation when it comes of make up.
Several shades of shimmery eyeshadows, coats of mascara and too much foundation or too shiny / dry.

I know that many people think that the eyes make up for most of the beauty but every part of your face needs equal attention to get that complete look.
Lips, cheeks and eyebrows does make quiet a big difference.
I wish people would stop using so much eye makeup and foundation and instead wear less on several parts of your face.

definely right!

I put a little bit of hairspray on my finger tip and then rub it across my eyebrows before I go out to keep them in place.

I have a few make-up dilemmas I hope soemone can help me ...

I am stuck in a make-up rut, although I'm trying to find good staples that work for me. I have a day look, and at night I always reach for kohl pencil, Strobe Cream and overload the bronzer. I'm not sure what to do and I wish sometimes I could try a new look. MY face is so PINK what can I do to tone it down??? I also have pretty good chekbones but I dont know the right techniques to accentuate them .... so I end up lookinf 'rounder' than i should.

PLEASE HELP !!! Thank you

^ I think going to a make up counter would be the best solution.
there they would be able to take a look at you, hearing you out on what you want and then help you

You could try MAC's Select Cover-Up, Colour Corrector Green. (mix a microscopic amount w. your foundation for those places that get too pink) :flower:

Golden_butterfly

the girl in your avatar is gorgeous
who is she ?

Has anyone tried the Loreal True Match blendable powder? I got it the other day and at first it wat really light on my skin, but after in "oxidized" it looked super natural.
