I usually spend about $200 on one thing. Like most of my jeans, sunglasses, and jackets retail for about that price. I don't have many luxury items.

Well, I for one get 95% of my stuff on sale or some other form of deep discount (people selling online... ebay... etc.). I've actually never plopped down $3k+ for anything short of a car in my life thus far

My Dior Homme Follow Me leather blazer was the most expensive clothing purchase cash-wise. I paid $1300 for it, but retail was a bit under $3k I believe.... although these days DH leather prices keep going up season after season and the quality becomes more and more dubious.

$2500 CAD Jil Sander suit. It's one of the only "expensive" items I've actually paid full retail for. As for some other pieces (in particularily my Dior Homme leather pieces), they may be worth more in full retail, but as Ch1norlz mentioned prior, I acquired those at a heavy discount, whether through sales or eBay.

However, I have a few heavily discounted items (Chloe, etc.) that were marked down majorly in sales that would be upwards of 1K retail.
