Really? I must have searched incorrectly on MUA for it then. But that's so disappointing! It looks like it could have been the perfect smoky-eye palette.looks so pretty IRL, but i read bad reviews from MUA so not buying.
I really want to try Cocabana as well!the multiple stick look very very nice but they are also very very expensive
wanna try cocapana (sp?! it is the pearly one) and orgasm
What better to offset the spring runway’s preponderance of exotic prints, slinky jumpsuits, and bold patterns crammed with oversize blooms, than a beauty look that is both strong and sophisticated.
“My inspiration for spring was a very sexy woman,” explains François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics. “I wanted a bit of a ‘70s feeling, somewhere between Guy Bourdin and Chris Von Wangenheim’s photographs—aggressive, but very sensual and fragile at the same time.” In the ‘70s, Bourdin and Von Wangenheim’s iconic images for Charles Jourdan and of the late supermodel Gia Carangi respectively, were sharp-focus portraits of savage eroticism—Nars’ modern vision is more beautiful, less brutal.
A striking matte brick-red eyeshadow, made infinitely more wearable in combination with a pearly white shadow or simple black liner, is tempered by a sweet, baby pink glossy lip; while eyes painted in pastel hues of dusty rose, sage and lilac are a fitting match for a statement-making berry lip. And everything should be paired with the only cheek for spring: sparkling and sculpted.
Can I ask you ladies of good experience. I think I have bought foundation from virtually every company except NARS, and none of them are either pale enough, or if they are pale, they sit on my skin in bits, flake and makes it look dreadful. My skin is oily around the t zone, dry in patches with redness, but the biggest thing is, I'm pale as anything. I'm not pure white, but I'm darn pale and I want to be that way, I'm sick of women at make up counters trying to make me brown. What is your recommendation for NARS?
Your skin sounds a lot like mine...
Have you tried Giorgio Armani yet? I heard their matte foundation works well for all types of skin.
I've tried both the NARS oil-free and balancing foundation, I think the oil-free will work a lot better for you. It isn't flaky and there are very PALE shades for it. The balancing foundation looks a bit oily, which I don't like. It's also a lot thicker than the oil-free foundation.
Try shades like Mont Blanc and Fiji! Man you should live in Asia, everything here is made for pale skin!
Oh wow, thank you so much for your help! I think i'd be Mont Blanc, and thanks for the tip about coverage, that's really useful.
I'll also check out the Armani foundation....I'm not sure they do pale foundations though. I'm jealous, I want to live somewhere they allow you to be pale!
