Personally I wouldn't form such strong connection between the panther/rototiller prints at Givenchy to this thread, while they are nature, for me they're just prints. I can appreciate more the detail in Armani's HC collection where he added in the nature element through texture and techniques when making the clothing.
I'm still astounded at the beading in that JPG gown, it's exquisite, from far away it looks like real leopard fur.
^ that's why i didn't add many looks with the print, i posted the ones i thought were inspired by the anatomy and appearance of those animals using velvet, leather, fur, the silhouettes, color palette, accessories.. there's more than just prints imo
That Gaultier Couture leopard dress is simply astounding. Thank you so much for those pictures! The workmanship is unbelievable and I would have never guessed that the entire "skin" was beaded, considering how realistic it looks and also how realistically it drapes with the same heaviness as a true pelt! Wonderful!
