I was just thinking about the quality of the show myself...

I began watching this show when it came on a few years ago, and it was just so different. For starters, there was continuing drama that was actually compelling.

I actually miss Mischa, I didn't realize how important she was to the show until now!

The new characters need to go, or they need to center the show around new people. It was best when it was based on four teenagers (Summer, Seth, Ryan, and Marissa) and four adults. The minor characters were exactly that- minor. They exited when they needed to, which was almost always by the end of three or four months.

There are two routes they could choose- slowly weening us off of the older characters, like Ryan and Seth, and centering it soley on the younger ones, like Kaitlin, or they can get ride of the whole Kaitlin thing and make the show more like Beverly Hills 90210, growing up with the characters. I prefer the latter.

I do miss Marissa on the show but I think this season is really great nonetheless, I absolutely loved last nights episode. I really like Taylors character and Kaitlyn too. i think the writing has never been sharper and the magic is as strong as ever. Cant wait for next weeks episode its looks quite interesting!
