Pharrell Williams by Pari Dukovic

Pharrell Williams, who is up for six awards at the 57th Grammys on February 8, covers the upcoming issue of GQ in a monumental shoot by Pari Dukovic.

Hitting newsstands on January 27, the magazine highlights 26 of the most influential musicians of the past year including Sam Smith, FKA Twigs, Mark Ronson, Drake, Nas, Future and Iggy Azalea.

GQ tells us that Dukovic traveled 20,560 miles in 72 days to photograph all 26 artists for the portfolio titled “The Legacy Project.”

I like Pharrell, I like the styling (because it's not a suit), and I absolutely LOVE that GQ decided to introduce a little color.

The styling is nice and it suits him. That leather jacket is rich!

I don't like the colors because it's too tacky. A little color would've been nice but these are too much. They couldve just gone with a colored masthead and one different color for the text and some black test. Also dislike the highlighg effect

The colors/layout make it look almost like Nylon, but he looks good and the styling is great.

I think the colors work perfectly for a music themed issue and with Pharrell's more playful styling/pose. In another context it might be too much, but it's lively, energetic, and it will stand out against the other men's magazine's on the shelf.

Any news on GQ UK? Seems a little late this month.

Also does anyone have any scans of GQ Mexico? Martha Hunt is on the cover and there's a behind the scenes ed of the VS show which I'd quite like to see...British GQ used to always do it but they seem to have stopped as of 2011.
