The Official Men's Magazine Thread

Attitude named Edward Enimful “Man of The Year”.

But, can we take a minute to talk about this picture? Is just me or his hand on his face is photoshoped? This reminds me that akward pose of Alicia Vikander in her last Vogue cover.

Ryan Gosling losing his looks? Please. If that’s what losing your looks renders you looking like, sign me up. What a thing to say.

You can not be fond of a person or dislike an imagine without relating it to the fact you think they’re not good looking. Quite how we’ve got the point in society when we feel we can quite openly say that someone is ‘losing their looks’,no longer attractive, ugly or anything similar via a forum about a person we have likely never met is truly beyond me. The more I read comments like it the less I want to interact with the forums.

Would you stand before a person and tell them ‘you’ve lost your looks’?

I dont' think so, it's a 'reprint' from the September Issue where he got the cover and the hands in that editorial look normal

I'm also glad! As you can imagine very few American magazines will give her coverage because they don't want to suffer the wrath of Serena, which is ridiculous.

And how exactly will magazines suffer Serena’s wrath if they put Naomi on a cover?

I don’t think its Serena’s wrath entirely. Serena was a victim of mysogyny. That’s a different discussion altogether.

The reason why you don’t see magazines putting Naomi on the cover is because as between “Naomi, a Winner” and “You Can’t Keep a Good Woman Down: Serena, a survivor.” The latter is CLEARLY a better storyline in consideration of the times. Personally, I’d milk the latter more than the former. Is it right to milk, profit, and exploit such experience, of course not. But that’s the reality.

I’m 100% sure Serena’s PR team is getting tons of calls from American magazines clamoring for an exclusive.

Nonetheless, let’s not be distracted from the fact that Naomi deserved that win. She’s stunning, and also deserving of publicity.

In spite of.....? That's what's bothering me. I think Naomi, who's actually the formal winner, was dealt with a shocking hand of cards. Her great moment was already tainted by what went down. And now this. But I'll agree that it's counterproductive to celebrate Naomi's win and Serena's ballsiness in the same breath.

Just amazed that GQ Japan, of all magazines, had the guts to pay tribute to her moment.

The controversy surrounding Serena arguably gave Naomi MORE coverage and celebrity than she'd normally receive. No one significant was claiming she didn't deserve to win, the Serena/Misogyny discussion is a separate issue.

And as for which magazine paid tribute to her win? Considering she's Japanese, I hardly think it's surprising a Japanese magazine chose to highlight her.
