Thanks for all the scans Zorka!
I wonder what Jason is plugging landing two covers?

For the shi*ty 'The Meg' Movie, even GQ Spain (and maybe Mexico) use the David Smith shots for their september issues. He also appears in Harper's Bazaar China September Issue next to Li Bing Bing too.

Ew! I've been seeing pics of him and Li Bingbing all over the place, so that's what it's for. The studio must be buying covers left right and centre because I doubt GQ would seek him out.

L’UOMO VOGUE celebrates its 50th anniversary and returns to newsstands
The Condé Nast magazine, that will be distributed primarily with Vogue Italia, will be composed of four sections: Culture, Fashion, Objects and Affairs

50 years after its first release, L’Uomo Vogue returns to newsstands with a totally revamped formula on June 12, concurrently with the opening of Pitti Immagine Uomo. A special anniversary that will be celebrated on that same day with a party in Florence.

L’Uomo is a series of short stories that all begin with the same words – “the man” – and then each lead to unexpected places: you can open a door, choose a path, and in an instant you’re no longer the man, L’Uomo, you were before.
L’Uomo is the embrace of two athletes, or a wounded soldier being tended to and cared for by the one he loves.
L’Uomo is Lou Reed with his mirrored sunglasses, or the clear-eyed gaze of a short-haired girl, or a photographer in his wooden cabin before the ocean, or Pharrell Williams dressed in an Armani suit.
L’Uomo is five fashion stories, each with different settings, protagonists and clothes – because there cannot be just one Uomo: there is no single style or sole way to live in this world.
L’Uomo is one of the few international magazines that has accompanied, witnessed, and in certain cases influenced consumption and lifestyles over the last 50 years. In Italy and around the world. From Italy to the world.
L’Uomo is going to be different every time, every issue special.
L’Uomo is three magazines in one: culture, fashion and objects. It features the most relevant voices in style reporting; it showcases five women photographers shooting five different covers.
L’Uomo is the creation of many: all the women and men who have contributed to it over these past 50 years – and all those who are now starting to write a new chapter in its history.

The previous gq mexico cover with Lele Pons (terrible singer, by the way) was hideous, the worst I ever buy. This one is stunning, it's another magazine, wow. So happy for this!

^ It’s crazy that they needed 14 covers. Why not just print the entire magazine with the magazine’s logo? Ridiculous. Although I am really happy to see Elisabeth Moss, I really assumed she would have received more coverage for The Handmaid’s Tale. And dare I say it, Sacha Baron Cohen looks sexy on his cover.

The more covers they print, the less interested I become.
It's beyond ridiculous.
It's the print equivalent of giving everyone a participation trophy for playing.

GQ UK have a very weird working relationship with P Plein.
Doesnt someone on their team style the show?
And wasn't he guest at the conde nast luxury conference?
Dua Lipa also wore him on her cover...

(none of those covers are THAT great)
A week year for the GQ awards covers. None are memorable.

Jeff Goldblum being given a cover when he only just covered the August issue is odd. But meh. They just like to try and make it an ‘event’.

GQ is redundant in this day and age. Does anyone even read it? Their competition is so minimal I suppose by default they must do a little better. Esquire isn’t even available through the major supermarkets now, only WHSmiths and selected lager stores. GQ is the sole menswear magazine aimed at straight men stocked in most retailers.
