The Official Men's Magazine Thread

Yes, it is Guerrino on the cover and in the ed.

I saw that on their Instagram, and I was a bit shocked. I like their current design, they have good covers (though not every month) and they tend to feature drag queens and some lesbians and non mainstream cover stars which is nice. They did seem to be more relevant, and many shops around me started carrying it as it was a bit more polished and not as in your face as some of their older covers.

I wonder what their redesign would look like...

I always find it interesting that they have so many fashion brands supporting them but without a single ad campaign in the issue. Literally, not one.
I'm also a liiiiittle sceptic with the many multicovers they run each month. Fair enough the covers are well distributed, and I get that they're trying to appeal to quite a few demographics, but just the idea od multicovers puts me off personally.

Anyway, will wait to see what this redesign will look like.

It appears they just removed the frame for the new Gay Times re-design? or am I missing something haha.

I did like the the frame, it made the magazine somehow appear more clean and higher end. Though, if they keep the simple portrait covers, I am ok with that.

Beto who????

I want to take in all that hotness that is Juan Guaido! And to @MulletProof and all the rest with dirty minds, I mean VISUALLY! Major props to GQ Mexico for going with this cover. More importantly, I expect it will be on the Latin American edition too?

Not sure how I feel about the Comic-Con Jessica Rabbit updo on Gay Times. Will await the rest of the covers, but the casting is great. The 'redesign' looks too muted for my taste. Had hoped they would start cropping their covers to begin with.

I know right?

Btw, this cover is being criticized by readers in social media. “ThIs Is A FaShIoN mAgAzInE, nOt A pOlItIcAn/GoSsIp OnE”. I mean, did they know that other GQ around the world are into politics too?

Right! British GQ, for instance, is one of the first pitstops for male politicians on a press tour. The kind of people complaining about that cannot be actual GQ, or magazine readers. Why is it ok for the first ladies to appear on Vogue then? Come to think of it, Julianna appeared fairly recently on Latin American Vogue.

It would've been a cute shot without the extra eyebrows and the clumpy mascara. I also thought there was something dirty on my computer screen, but no, there's a Chanel logo (pin?) on her front tooth
