The Perfect Tee

i'm looking for opinions on the best t-shirts around(affordable too)... what's everybodies favorite brand of tshirt, the one that u love to wear and wish u had 10 more of b/c the fabric and cut is perfect....any opinions would be greatly appreciated...thanks...erica

H&M! (Can you see the excitement here?) I bought, literally, tons of this style of "Basic jersey" tee. It's long, baggy, flattering for my figure, and the cut of the neckline is ideal. I got I think... four black, three striped, and two light greys. I was literally going there every weekend to pick up one more grey (addiction anyone?) because they are so low priced, but the store had moved on to Fall & Winter gear.

At least I'm well prepared for next year. =) Also, seriously, I will wear this shirt year-round. So happy I finally found a shirt design I love (and could afford to buy so many of!)

^ I just bought one from the men's section, as a tryout. Are yours women's? cause your description fits mine but I always thought that women's were more snug...
Something that I take special attention when buying tshirts are the sleeves (just hate those too short ones) and this one's are the perfect lenght :)

^I once tried some mens tees from HM. They were far to narrow over the hips for me, but they might work for someone taller and with a long rise...

They're expensive, but I really like Armani tees for layering. I've been getting them from Yoox for around half price. Nordstrom has several rave reviews from people who (it sounds like) paid full price and think they're worth it.

Also I have an asymmetrical tee from Eli Tahari that I really like. It was also not cheap, but I think worth it.

Koko I never thought of shopping in a men's department for a plain basic tee. I'm so baffled as to why it never occurred to me! I have very picky tastes with shirts and while I always pick men's unisex graphic tees, (I'm not a baby tee kinda girl!) I never thought of browsing around for the basics.

^imo every brand men section have better basics than women's but they usually don't have small sizes, so I always end up envying the things my boyfriend gets
but H&M even has XS size in basic tshirts!
