Define the perfect 'jeans'

...ah yes, and not TOO much stretch... because then they start to not look like jeans anymore. i hate non-denimish jeans that basically look like khakis that have turned blue

Haven't found the perfect jeans yet... at least not for me ... :( Small waist big *** syndrome :(

have you tried joe's rocker jeans? their waists always look way smaller than the rest of the jean... i tried on a pair of them before and i didn't have the bum to fill them out but they were just about cutting off the circulation at my waist

dark grey wash.

Uber skinny, and then i mean seriously drainpipes, all the way down!

Nice 'uplifting' pockets on the back.

If i ever find these..

I haven't found a perfect pair yet, but these are my requirements

-long inseam (at least 36" or so)
-not too low
-small hip circumference
-straight leg (or as little flare/bootcut as possible)
-no ostentatious logo/weird back pockets
-not too stiff
-no weird "distressments"
-comfortable

i think i may have just found my perfect pair!!!! and from ZARA (woman) no less. (yay! it didnt really break my bank coz it retails for 40 quid!!!!)

it has this amazing dark wash with no icky whiskers and more importantly, it sits at the waist AND NOT at my ***..very classic.

i never really wore jeans before and never understood the hype. but i just might wear them everyday. haha

Not tight jeans from very very soft fabrik, so you almost don't feel them, and when you feel trhem they feel soft. Good fitting around my waist so you don't see my underwear, and just a tad too long at the legs, so when you them for a month they ruffle(is that the word?) a little.

Unfortunatly I never found my perfect jeans...

Black, darkgrey or lightgrey
Extremely, can't-breath, skinny, very tapered at leg
Easy to tuck inside boots
Low waist
Not distressed, plain
Somekind of "small" detail like the white + + on Tsubi's

For now, the perfect model is white CM's and black Tsubi lean bean's.

my favorite are siwy denim.
i really am obsessed.
i like that they stay on my waist, but are lower in the front.
i also like that they suck my thighs in and don't hurt.
i don't work out, so i am very soft, but these really make me look long and toned.
oh and if it gives my non existent bum some perkiness.

My Pepe Jeans with the orange lettering are my perfect pair of jeans, there not too baggy but baggy enough to look smart. They are te right lengh to go with flat shoes high shoes and trainers :D

Well the perfect pair of jeans makes you look skinny. End of discussion.

Not much of a plus point if you are thin.

The fit is very important I think. And I'm also very particular about the design on the back pockets. That's why i love Frankie Bs

Either skinny or wide, but no flares
Not too low of a rise and not too long of an inseam (even though I can always get them hemmed...)
No overly-embellished back pockets
Not too thin and spandex-y of a material
...but not really thick and immobilizing, either
And no plain, boring medium-blue wash, usually referred to as 'vintage'...

Since everyone wears jeans, I like when I find jeans with special detail. Plus the fit is very important since my hips are like 37" but my waist is 24". Oh and when they don't have back pockets I like that too. Right now I wish I had these but they're only in size 10.

yeah those are kind of cute, but i can't stand cuffs.
personal thing.
also, the braided denim thing is so played out, someone needs to come up with something new.
i too like details, but for something that is so fluffy or novelty, i would not want to pay that much.

Well my perfect jeans were a pair of jeans I got on clearance for $7 at a store-slim but not super-skinny, very short inseam, rolls up well.

However I do like Lucky Brand's jeans because their short inseam is truly short-albeit a little long, with my less-than-29"-inseam. I have a pair of Joe's Jeans Provacateur, which I only bought because they're meant for short legs like mine but I am large in the thigh and butt, so I had to go up two sizes. And I still have to get them altered since they're WAY too long.
