yes Rachel seems to be quite unaffectionate and cold but maybe she doesn't want to do PDA while the cameras are their?

I completely agree! It's totally addictive. There's only a couple of things that bug me about it (aside from Taylor's neverending snark which, although she prides herself on being professional is actually the exact opposite. MANNERS and FRIENDLINESS are part of a professional attitude.). Rachel never eats. EVER! Marc Jacobs ate a meal in front of her in Season 1, she had water. Her entire team had food during one episode in season 2, she had none. She seems like a really sweet person and I just want to shake her and say "Rachel, your illness is NOT vertigo, just eat something, anything, and you'll feeel waaaaaay better".

Also she never flirts with her husband. She barely alloows him to kiss her on the mouth and only is physcially close to him when posing for photos. I know he's her "rock" etc but methinks they're more platonic than anything else.

Thoughts?

i always noticed the food thing. and every time rachel acts affectionate to rodger it sounds so forced. like when he gets her a present and she talks in that annoying baby voice that drives me crazy....
rodger is such a great guy to be able to handle that lifestyle

I could understand not wanting PDA on camera, I wouldn't want others seeing me nor would I want to see others like that on TV. I think they are happy together though, even if it's not portrayed on camera. They've been together for quite some times, both with demanding jobs.

I just think the show is about how Rachel works and not really about her personal life, but since she is working so close to home it is bound to be bits of her private life in the show. To me, she just seems overworked and stressed in every single ep, so not having time to eat on cam or having private snuggle time with Rodger is understandable IMO

Yeah Roger and Rachel seem very platonic like not wife and husband just best friends. I understand not wanting to have their marriage in front of the camera but still they come off as just friends. It's fine some people are content with platonic marriages.

a. i hate brad's short shorts, i don't think any man has any appeal with that.
b. i hate more the gay guy at American Apparel, OMG!! disgusting!
c. I see the show because of the fashion, not Rachel's illness. I dont really care if she's sick, Show me the fashion!!! i didn't like that 6 minutes of doctor-pacient conversation, it doesn't say anything to me.

So I just downloaded the episode, but when it plays on Windows Media it only plays the audio and no video anyone else have this problem?
