The Rachel Zoe Project ... Television Show

Okay, Rachel must be dying, literally, right now.
Her loyal, often sullen, but always, always hard-working styling associate Taylor Jacobson is finally leaving Rachel Zoe Inc. We’ve kind of seen this coming for a while, but the season ender showed Taylor getting a new role, well sort of, handling aspects of RZ’s growing merchandise business.
But we guess things didn’t get any better. In an email to contacts, Taylor said: “After four amazing years at Rachel Zoe Corporation, I’m saddened and exhilarated at the same time to announce my departure. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take the challenging leap to go off and style on my own.”
Who will make Brad and Rach stay focused now? Who will keep Rodg up to speed on Rachel’s vertigo issues? Who will handle all those returns? We hope there’s a season 3 so we can find out.
Whatever happens we wish Taylor lots of luck in her solo styling career!

Awh :( Well she's off to better things and I wish her success in her future endeavors!
I wonder who'll be in her place for next season, if there will be a next season?

Good riddance, she was beyond annoying this past season. And what an ingrate too! She and Brad aren't getting paid to do brain surgery and she acts like it's so awful.

Jordan? Though her personality doesn't really come across on camera, I'll miss Taylor's inarticulate rants. Guess I'll have to make do with YouTube parodies.

After this season I'm sad to se Taylor go, but I think it was probably the right thing for her to do. It just didn't seem like her career could grow how she wanted it to if she stayed with Rachel.

I'm guessing Brad will take her position now because he was next up in the RZ "hierarchy." Well, lucky enough, Tay got a lot of exposure from the show and I'm sure through the many opportunities she got these last four years working with Rach, she'll be pretty well off on her own.

Im so sad to see Taylor go but this definitely seems like the best thing for her.

She was clearly unhappy at Zoe's camp. I am sure she won't have a problem getting another job. :flower:
Now that Taylor is gone... who is going to do the bulk of work for Rachel... hope she doesn't think that Brad will be able to step up to the plate... he is just there to look cute, be nice to the clients and make Rachel laugh:lol:

Seriously, Rachel should worry about Taylor's departure...

I feel Taylor runs RZ Inc well, she understands what Rachel's needs very well and basically makes a lot of decisions on behalf of Rachel.

I just watched The City, Roxy said over at Zoe camp, it was very unorganized, imagine without Taylor around

And basically Brad & Rachel have the similar characteristics, kind of wishy washy :innocent:

i have to say that i'm sad because she's leaving the show so we probably won't see that often her amazing outifts, but at the same time i am quite happy for her, i mean, i'm really curious to see how she will style on her own, without been under rachel's wing and influence..

Just watching the ep where Rachel's doing that Blog girl thingy for Ashton, and she's like a parody of herself, I mean when she's doing the voice over she is doing her lines sooo sooo slowly..

^I as well wish Taylor the best...However, if it was not just for the "show" her bad attitude in the work place should never have been allowed. When you are in a leader role, as she was with Brad, etc., one should act like a leader, not a spoiled brat.

I feel bad for Taylor- I think that half the time, the editing probably makes her look worse than she is (clips of whining every episode??)... Brad was supposed to be her assistant but it didn't seem that way.. no wonder why she was unhappy...

I tend to believe People that she was fired. With Rodger 'taking over' he probably didn't care for her attitude as much as Rachel. Either way though I think it's going to be a big loss for the Rachel Zoe co. For as much as she bitched about it all, she kinda held the whole thing together. Brad was/is more useless than a coat hanger. Rachel was just going around doing publicity, trying to get new deals for herself, etc. So Taylor was really pulling all the hard work.

As for the show, if they ever have more seasons. For as much as I disliked Taylor's moaning and bitching, I'm gonna miss her. I kinda want Bravo to make a new show for her to track her trying to make it.

I don't know if I will continue to watch the show now. Though I could not stand Taylor in the first season, I grew to appreciate her in the second. She really had a strong work ethic, and to echo others in this thread, she was a huge asset to the Rachel Zoe machine. Hmm. We'll see.
