they tend to make such depressing silhouettes, but judging from their very rich, and very mature clientele it only makes sense

It already reminds me of Celine, not a good sign.

In all fairness the designs are something that The Row have done before Phoebe sent out that collection for S/S 2013 that shared strong similarities with The Row. Unfortunately, the fluffy sandals they're presenting are not helping me so much with my statement.

In the past there have been hints here and there but I thought Spring 2013 and Pre-Fall 2013 were wholly original, this is just so blatant. And yes, the shoes aren't doing them any favors in that regard. But I guess I should wait until I see the whole thing.

The comments here have nicely summed up the overall impression I get from The Row-- rich, old and depressed.

^not to mention pretentious and horrendously self-indulgent.

So they don't do a show? Their work isn't even on Style.com. These are the only images we get? Is that a fur hemline!?

^
Definetely not, the staircase speaks for itself.

oh, hmmm...
no more images?

i was curious to see the entire collection
i guess they'll be out eventually ^_^

i'll reserve all judgement 'til then
i really don't think this is enough to form an opinion from.

It all seems so...severe. It's interesting how it's these younger designers who are designing such mature clothing...

Seeing the whole thing on style.com was a let down. They've been designing rather significant collections, to toss that wonderful direction aside and make these awkward versions of Celine is so disappointing.

They've always done quite small presentations/runways (and tbh I think that kind of humble/modest start helped them build their credibility--I mean look at what happened to Kanye with his first collection at Paris fashion week). And what do you mean? Their collections are on style.com, this one is currently on the front page:
