The Row - The All-Things The Row Thread

Well, I am not surprised at all. With Savile Row, you get what you pay for! But The Row eventually is a niche brand. If rich people want their version of Uniqlo, they always have Hermes. IMO, there is no way that The Row can ask for a price that it has no prestige/heritage to back up!

to be factual hermes is far from plane like Uniqlo its verry logo and iconography (horses saddles links H´s etc tec) integrated in every product design.

The Row is more true to the comparison to Uniqlo fabric & cut /proportion all plain no bs besides t shirts with prints or occasional colab print

Last Saturday I was at Loewe and the men's collection was beyond banal. I repeat: Loewe.

Given the comatose state of conglomerate fashion, I decided to give props to independent projects, like The Row.

Is their fashion groundbreaking?
No.
But their quality is insane.
Kudos to a house born 20 years ago that wants to give you Hermès excellence.

honestly Hermes misses what The Row has in sense of more relaxed non logo luxury estetic

i like the colors and leather and the quality you can find at Hermes but it's hard to find grown up luxury like the Row has without a logo or horse or something branded.

past there was a balance of wimsical and branded versus hard core luxury simple elegance at Hermes now its kind of loud luxury

first not sure why you are in loewe for menswear... and what that has to do with the row who barely makes menswear...

insane quality is bare minimum for the prices the row is asking these days.

Go to maxmara and tods, now thats excellence.

I go to Loewe menswear because I am a man 🤣

Tod's shoes must be good, Prada's are.
Thanks for the advice 😉

I think it depends on your local Hermes store - each one of them select their own stocks. Tons of well balanced offerings in NYC and Paris.

I do not think you can compare the two - Hermes provides a much wider and deeper breathes of offerings for clients of various lifestyles, whereas the Row’s vision is much more singular (i.e., ladies who lounge and enjoy looking at potteries).
