^ thanks ^_^ only problem is that they don't ship internationally. oh well we have those same type shoes in almost every shop in finland

for those of you who were interested, i recieved the Yeah Yeah Yeahs top a couple of us liked a few weeks ago... i got the women's medium, and the fit is perfect on me (uk 6-8), just the right length and not restrictive around the neck or sleeves. pic below of me from my myspace, though it cuts off the bottom unfortunately

I have to disagree with you on that one. Hippies were fighting for a cause (or least under the guise of fighting for a cause). The hippie movement was consentient with the anti-war movement of the time. It was so much more than fashion -- it was music, politics, drug culture, a way of life.

I have nothing against the scene, mind. But to compare the two movements is counterfactual.

i feel like the modern ravers are more closer to hippies than scenesters. they fight for the power to legalize ganja and other drugs.
scenesters dont fight any cause, they just dress cool, snort some coke and have fun. ;) id compair them more to the disco generation of the 70s if anything.
