i think that the style in this particular thread is only one of the many different 'scenes' styles from all over. not every scene is like the ones from cobrasnake/misshapes..etc. why havent we been posting from other places? is this thread dedicated to misshapes etc only? --im a little confused

youre right lost, those shorts are pretty ugly. i had some biker shorts with floral pattern back in the 90s.. i agree its coming back but people/scene kids tend to grab anything they can from "trends" and mix match and voila youre so scene.. to me it looks a bit like rag doll or something..

What bands are considered "indie"?
It seems like everyone has their own definition of it...

indie = independent bands. means they didn't sign with a Major (like Universal etc.)

to answer your question chanel,

you can find them mainly around big cities such as los angeles or new york. just go to the indie clubs over there and youll see 200 scenesters walking and dancing around. worst scene "hell" ive been to has been at club moscow in los angeles. they play ok music but the crowd.... :S i guess misshapes and cobrasnake are sort of scene, although the latter people dress really in a horrible way! mostly just some normal guys in large buttonup shirts and loose jeans with tennis shoes. or hippie boho girls. yuck!

indie music/scene music is emo, hardcore, indie, old punk, new wave.. mainly bands like the killers, the bravery, the cure etc. which are not that bad i guess...hardcore kids and music are hard to stand imo.

This thread is definitely for pictures of scenesters from all over the world, hard to tell why are people exclusively focused on LA and NYC instead of somewhere else...I guess... same reason why Lindsay Lohan's thread has over 100 pages while Clémence Poésy's has less than 15.

Haha I listen to those types of bands...But I wouldn't consider myself to be like these people. Unfortuanately I don't go out & party in those clubs & look like that either, lol.

i listen to those bands too but i dont have the scenester attitude.. haha.. i do party but im not rude and concieded...spit on people etc. which i have seen happening at "scene clubs".
