I'm loving all of the warm, rich shades of cinnamon, turmeric, saffron, chili and paprika that have been breaking up all of the typical spring pastels, brights and neutrals.

LOVE this trend. i've noticing this trend all over fashionweek's runway and iv been wanting to spice up my wardrobe for sometime now and this just pushed me to do so..
thanks for the post :)

great way to describe this spike... i'm loving these earthy, "spicy" tones and colors

I'm really loving this trend too. It seems like for the last few years the only colors I've seen on the runways for S/S are white, pastels and super saturated brights. This is a nice change of pace.

i'm really loving those burnt orange, blood orange and saffron shades especially...
such a great punch of color

^ Me too. I'm loving the shades that really fall between two distinct colors (prangey red, brownish orange). I'm also partial to the really deep reds. They just look so rich and bold without being eye-searing.

Great spotting! The Marc Jacobs was one of the first collections to come to mind... just reading this title!

I love love burnt orange! Its one of the most flattering colours on our chocolate hued skin tone

These colours are very beautiful and feminine. They're exhaling such warmth. I'm glad they're in fashion!

I liked these reds at Antonio Marras

I agree completely. I remember at the CK show this season, when that paprika colored dress came out amidst the blue, eggshell and charcoal it was such a warm, bright pop of color; very enthusiastic feeling. Great thread! :flower:

I love the colors! Not only are they beautiful to look at, but they seem to complement the majority of skin tones as well. You could probably ever wear some of them in fall as well.
