Have you ever seen a pair of shoes that you thought were really ugly, but felt yourself drawn to them anyway?

Perhaps I'm nuts, but I feel that way about this season's Balenciaga's

The heels are terribly chunky, and the one looks like it has large rocks attached to it, But I still can't help but find them irresistable!

I also felt this way about most of Miu Miu's shoes this season

The heels are so awful, and the closed round toes are awfully unflattering, but they're so interesting!

I don't think those Balenciaga shoes are ugly in the least bit. I think it is just a new shape, and it will take some getting used to. :)

Well the Balenciaga *does* have huge rocks attached to it, but I don't think there's anything wrong with the Miu Mius, nothing unflattering about them, although I do prefer the non-platform. While I wouldn't wear the Balenciaga, I do admire them, particularly for being so unique. Interesting that the shoes showed continuity from the previous season, while the clothes did not.

In answer to the question, though, I'm not sure I've ever *been* drawn to a pair of shoes I thought was ugly ;) I can't think of any right now anyway.

I like those balenciagas a lot actually, and I dont think they're ugly :) ta-ta, what do mean that the shoes showed continuity?

I just mean you can see the similarity between the shoes this season and last season, whereas all but the first few outfits on the runway (the egg dresses) were a huge departure. From space pod mod to baroque explosion.
