After watching episode 14 i agree with what you have said. I hope there are some cool twists and turns in the Katharine story because Damon running of to Chicago or wherever to find her would be totally lame Also it looks like Damon and Elena are getting very close which is such a shame (for me at least) because i adore Stefan and Elena together

I can't believe we have to wait until March 25th for a new episode that sucks!

Holy hell this show is so good. Last ep was fantastic.

When that guy came out at the end I had to do a double take cause it looked like Chris Brown.

Episode 5 (I think) was just on TV. It was really good. Liked it a lot. Elena discovering that video from '53 in the news' archive. But soooo cliffhangery again in the end!!!
Can't wait for next week! I'm so excited I'm actually considering watching the next episode on TV, but I don't wanna ruin it for myself. I want something to look forward to next week, even though I'm itchin' to see what happens next!!

Not sure about that, we're always at least half a year or so behind, so I guess our season 1 ends around the time your season 2 starts and then you watch season 2 while we have to suffer through that break until season 2 starts airing over here in September or October. I hate that.

Gotta agree on the show, though, the first two episodes were kinda lame, but the series keeps getting better and better with every weekly episode. And I'm actually starting to find Stefen more attractive than Damon. Well........sloooooooowly.

I really, really want to see Damon with Elena. Not like being a couple, but is clear that there's something between these two.. Stefan is so strange, I don't know, he doesn't seem like a real character to me.. I find that they've really, like, modeled him after Edward Cullen (in the tv series, don't know about the books, never read them)..

I agree, he's very Edward Cullen-ish and it's clearly intentional.

The Vampire Diaries books were written 15 years before the Twilight books so it could be said that Edward was modeled around the character of Stefan . I've never read or watched the Twilight books/movies so i don't know how similar Edward and Stefan are but I really like Stefan and Paul Wesley is doing a great job playing him.

I`ve read both sagas and the Stefan from the book is nothing like the one from the show or like Edward. Though tv show`s Stefan is similar to Edward, a bit of a broody and depressed kinda guy lol

aha, funny, my mum was watching an episode of Cold Case, I passed by, and I saw Stefan in it! anyway, I was talking about the tv serie's Stefan (since I've never read TVD).. I think that they make him act a LOT like Edward, he speaks slowly,he is very "quiet", and yes, kind of broody/depressed. And also when they made him say like "i have been 17 since 1860".. wasn't that a line from Twilight?
Anyway, I'm lovin the show, it's such a shame we have to wait untill the 25th..
