I've never seen it on tv, but are the books any good? I'm looking for new series to read, and I saw the books in the store today...

^imo, the saga starts ok and interesting but it loses appeal as the story progresses... you can get two books in one for $10 so it´s a good deal to read all four books like this. I enjoyed reading it but I´m a big fan of anything related to vampires and honestly I already forgot most of it, maybe I should read them again lol

btw, I´m talking about the original saga, I haven´t read The Return yet... does anyone know if it´s any good?

Okay, so I couldn't resist!!! They stopped airing episodes after episode 11 over here a few weeks ago and aren't due to pick up on the rest of season 1 until fall, but that proved to be too much of a long wait for me. so I spent the last couple of days catching up with episodes 12 to 19 and OMFG!!! I'm so excited!! Can't wait what happens next!!

It was so cool to see a bit of Elena/Damon action in the last few episodes. And I feel very sorry for Stefan, I hope he gets it togetherm eventually. I, too, miss Bonnie, so it's great to hear she'll be back for the finale!

I can't wait!!! It's gonna be so awesome!!

Loved the last episode (20: Blood Brothers)!

Spoilers:
-Stefan forced Damon to turn into a vampire!
-Right when they're getting ready to leave town, Pearl is killed! (I felt bad for Anna.)
-And Isobel (Elena's mother/Alaric's dead wife) is back! I'm excited to see what happens!

Only 2 more episodes until the finale!

ooooo, thats looks sooo GOOD!, can't wait for next weeks ep! But that link should be labeled as a spoiler. Had I known it was a sneak peek of next weeks ep i probably would not have clicked on it because i don't like to be spoilt.

NOT jeremy- because steven r. mcqueen is tweeting that he's shooting season 2 right now, implying of course that jeremy does NOT die
jenna- if you think about it, she is their sole guardian right now. should she be killed, john gilbert will take over, and then he could reveal even more crazy stuff and reeeeally kick up hell
