In the kissing scene you can tell there is defintiely something different about Elena...the way Nina plays Katherine, there are subtle differences, a certain haughty attitude and less perky.

Season 2 starts in September (First ep of S1 was on Sep 10). Its gonna be a looong sumer , but thank god in 28 days its Tru Blood again!

I can't can't wait till september without vamp. diaries!! the last episode was awesome, that's what I called a finale.. everything was slow, till it almost reached the end..the last 5 minutes were superb, I did not see anything coming..Seeing Anna die was so sad, poor Jeremy. Just one thing that I didn't get, was mayor Lockwood a vampire or a lychanthrop?? Tyler is a lychanthrop, isn't he?

Yep, he is. At least in the books and they allude that in the show, with the full moon every time he looses his cool and starts fighting Matt or Jeremy.

Oh my gosh, the finale was SO good. The last scene with Elena/Katherine literally sent chills down my spine.

I think sooner or later Damon would figure it out from the kiss. Anyways enjoyed the episode and I can't wait for the next season.

If the season 2 premier picks up exactly where last night left off then it's possible as Damon is walking home he'll figure it out and run back. I don't think he knew right away (if he did, there's no way he would let Katherine walk in that house)...he just seemed more shocked that "Elena" was kissing him back so passionately.

Cool finale! I didn´t see it coming, I was like "WTF Elena, you b!tch, don´t kiss Damon after you´ve been on and on about loving Stefan" major lols, the joke´s on me!
What do you think about Jeremy? Will he become a vampire? I want him to but I´m thinking that he´ll be saved at the nick of time with a stomach pump or something like that...
I didn´t remember that fact about Tyler, gotta read the books again! something to do until next season begins

I knew it wasnt her! She wasnt wearing the necklace... And there was something up with her attitude and I KNEW she would NEVER do that to Stephen! Though I DID love watching her kiss Damon! hehe
Now I have a question, how come they cant figure out when there are vampires around? Dont they have some kind of sense for this? Thats the only thing I cant figure out...

I think Jeremy is going to be saved and NOT become a vampire... Tyler is def a wolf! I thought the finale was AMAZING!

And Nina Dobrev has the BEST, MOST AMAZING job EVER! Making out with 2 hot guys all day must be SUCH hard work! hehehehe

OMFG!!! Wow! I watched the finale last night and it blew me away! Amaaaaazing end to season 1! I didn't see that coming at all! I want to see what happens next NOW! 4 months without my weekly dose of Vampire Diaries is way too long! How am I ever gonna survive that endless period of time!

ATTENTION! SPOILERS! :

When Damon and Elena kissed my initial thought was "Elena, you can't be serious, dammit!" I didn't realise it wasn't really Elena, was too busy dropping my jaw instead of paying attention to the fact she wasn't wearing her necklace!
I did enjoy her and Damon kissing, though! Had been waiting for it to happen for such a long time!
Well, I slowly started to understand it probably wasn't really Elena when Jenna said to her "you better come inside". It was just the way the camera focused on her as she was entering the house that made me go like "wait a second. this must be important." Also the way she reacted to John in the kitchen. You know, you'd think she'd be all angry with him. IMO, she was just way too friendly and forgiving to him, so I kinda saw the Kathrine thing coming at that point. It still surprised me when she suddenly cut off his fingers, though.
Not sure whether Damon knows it wasn't Elena he kissed yet.
Also, I don't know why, but throughout the episode and when I saw Jeremy taking the pills and stuff, I've always had the strange feeling that Damon will actually play an important role in the saving of Jeremy. I don't know why or how yet, and If my thoughts will turn out to be true at all, and at the moment I don't really think Jeremy will be turned, but still, I kinda have the feeling Damon will be the one saving him in the end, one way or another.
Speaking of Damon! raaaaawr!! He gets hotter and hotter by episode, me thinks! Woohooo I love him and actually thought he was really cute in this episode, in the way he told Jeremy about Anna's death (which is so sad, btw. I liked her.) and how he wanted to help her but couldn't.
LOOOOVE Damon!

Oh and the fact that Tyler is a wolf is VERY interesting, can't wait to find out what part he'll play as the story goes on.
And btw, I kinda stopped liking Bonnie right now. At least for the moment. I don't like what she's doing.



Season 2 will be so good!! Bp So excited!

^they´re a fun(-ish, in some parts) and light read, very similar to Twilight, not as good as Sookie Stackhouse, not even in the same league as The Vampire Chronicles lol

The good thing is that the show´s storylines are not the same, so you won´t get any spoilers
