I can't believe they finally got their girl. I am dyyyying to find out the name!

I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx

I like the name Harper, but Seven?

wait...whaaat! they named her 'Seven' after the shirt number David wore for Manchester United & England . I guess 'Harper Twenty-Three Beckham' (his Real Madrid & LA Galaxy shirt number) didn't quite have the same ring to it .

Harper is a nice name though..but if i remember correctly Tiffani Thiessen named her daughter Harper too so its not an original celebrity baby name like the Beckham boys had.

Why poor little girl? Call me when she names her kid Bear or Morocco! Seven is ridiculous, but she probably let her husband go with it, since its a middle name, and no one cares about it. Victoria's middle name is Caroline, and Davids Joesph And no one, not even family calls them that. I think Harper Beckham is beautiful, and yes very American.

I like Harper, I suspect the inspiration was more Harper's Bazaar than Harper Lee, but it's a cute name.

^ Strange enough, UK Vogue is reporting that their PR explained Harper is "an homage to American Harper Lee, and once a common old English name". So an honor to both countries. Didn't think they even knew who Harper Lee is.

If you just type 'harp' into google, her name is suggested somewhere around the middle of the list. Already famous (obviously).

Quite right! Harper Victoria sounds beautiful - very balanced and distinctive.

Harper is a very old english name. I don't get the fuss- it's a beautiful, normal name.
