I'm surprised we don't have a thread for them yet

Anyway, I saw them play live last night... And wow. Roger & Pete still know how to rock, seriously. Pete was absolutely incredible on guitar & Roger's voice still carries incredibly well.

I also got to meet Zac Starkey, who is touring as their drummer! He's lovely :heart:

That's awesome! That is one of the two acts I would most like to see (other, Led Zeppelin). I just satisfied a craving for Eminence Front mere minutes ago.

How large a venue did they play?

It wasn't too large of a venue, considering it was in Perth, Western Australia there really wasn't much to work with  Which I usually prefer, because it was more of an intimate vibe.. Even though there were thousands of people there, nothing was lost in the crowd. I preferred the venue to where I saw Dylan play, the sound was incredible & carried really well. It was the perfect night too, open air & the weather was nice and cool and still  Great to see some hardcore fans in the audience too :woot:

john entwhistle was an amazing bass player... that said, I don't like the who that much. I sorta blame the numerous commercials, tv shows, etc that played their music over and over.

From memory, they played Love Reign O'er Me, Substitute, Pinball Wizard ( ), Who Are You, My Generation, I Can't Explain, Anyway Anyhow Anywhere, The Kids Are Alright, The Seeker, Behind Blue Eyes, Won't Get Fooled Again, You Better You Bet... That's all I can remember

The Who live at leeds is a very intense concert .. I am a classic rock lover too ..

I'm even more susprised this thread doesn't have even a page.
