I'm currently watching X Files season 9, and the other night I watched the episode called Lord of the Flies (the one where flies eat some dude's brain and his skull collapses)...and I had a meeting at school the following day. We have our meetings in the top of an old tower (no elevator ), but our usual room was taken. We went to the very top room, and the floor was COMPLETELY COVERED in dead flies! I was SO freaked out! Especially when we found out that not all of them were dead

I used to scare my sister with x-files pranks back when we were in high school and the show was still on tv. There was an episode where, when you were going to die soon, you'd see the words "SHE IS ME" written in blood somewhere-sometimes a ghost would be looking at you in a mirror (I think)...I stood at the of her bed one night saying SHE IS ME over and over again like a zombie. She (my sister) didn't find it funny.. I would scare myself sometimes too though, I know after this SHE IS ME episode I was scared to look in my rearview mirror (Scully saw a man in her backseat, so she knew she was going to die)...I turned all my interior lights on and checked the backseat of my car for about a year straight after that ep!

Ohhh X-Files humor. Not every one gets it

Ahaha, I used to do this as well. And the Detour episode made me start looking under my bed before going to sleep. Silly, I know

I live over 1.5 hour from any movie theater...but you can bet I'm taking this day off from work to go catch the first showing of the day!!

This show had the best on-screen sexual tension, ever.

I grew up with this show, collected merchandise, kept clippings in my locker at school, taped episodes...and hardly anyone knew! God, I am so excited for this!

I still get the chills when I hear the theme song.

I live too far from a theater to go see it right away, but I've read that it's not getting good reviews and didn't taken in a whole lot of money, or not as much as expected.

I don't think anything can top the show as good as it was at it's peak-so I want to see the movie but don't have high expectations..

Just came from it and it was not good imo. I really love the show but the pacing and the storyline was not good. This was a bad stand alone movie.
